Background / History

Xiao Wu is a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Beast who took human form and left the Star Dou Great Forest. Because transformed soul beasts need contact with humans to improve, she entered human society despite the danger of having her identity exposed. She possesses extensive knowledge of soul beasts and does not need to hunt soul beasts for rings; her former cultivation automatically condenses into spirit rings as her strength returns. 14 27 167

She first notices Li Han while he purchases rabbit fur and soul-beast blood essence. Offended by his use of rabbit fur, she nevertheless becomes intrigued by the Heavenly Thunder Bamboo leaf he trades for a tuft of her fur. After consuming it, she finds that it suppresses her soul-beast aura, strengthens her physique with lightning power, and may help conceal her true form from high-level experts. She decides to follow Li Han to judge his character and obtain more leaves. 9 10
