An Encounter with Might Guy

The sound grew closer. Judging from it, Uchiha Matsuzaki had pinpointed its source, and he carefully made his way toward it.

When he was a dozen meters from the sound, Uchiha Matsuzaki stopped and peered through the bushes.

"I'm really curious. I wonder who's training."

Uchiha Matsuzaki wondered silently.

He slowly parted the weeds in front of him and finally caught sight of the person training. It was someone he hadn't expected.

"That's... Might Guy!"

A boy with a bowl cut, dressed in a green skintight suit, was training in front of a tree.

The skintight suit showed off every line of muscle on his body. Sweat streamed down him as he punched the tree again and again. Leaves fell from its branches in sheets.

"I never expected his attacks to be so unusual. More importantly, every single one packs a serious punch."

"I already knew how hard Might Guy trained from watching Naruto, but seeing it with my own eyes is even more impressive."

Uchiha Matsuzaki watched Might Guy train and thought to himself.

"Now I'm going to do two thousand side-to-side jumps, then a thousand push-ups! Come on, I can do this!"

"When I'm done with all that, I can rest. Tomorrow, I'll challenge Kakashi. I know I can beat him."

As he spoke, Might Guy had already started jumping from side to side.

Uchiha Matsuzaki knew quite a bit about Might Guy. After all, he'd made a deep impression on him when he'd watched Naruto in his old world.

"This guy is going to get incredibly strong. Guy opening the Eight Gates and fighting Madara was so awesome. Thinking back on it, if he'd kicked just a little harder, he might really have ended the story right there."

"But no matter what, Might Guy is so competitive. He's always trying to one-up Kakashi."

Uchiha Matsuzaki watched Might Guy train without disturbing him, then slowly backed away.

He reached the edge of the training ground and looked down at the village, seeming lost in thought.

"There really are all kinds of people in this world. I'm starting to like it here more and more! Haha!"

Uchiha Matsuzaki stood there and laughed.

In this world, most people were ordinary if they didn't have chakra. But some wanted to become ninja, and they trained in Taijutsu with all their might.

That was just how unfair this world was. Some people were born geniuses, while others were destined to be ordinary from the moment they were born.

"Tomorrow we're going on an outdoor trip. It should be fine, but I'd better be careful, just in case we run into danger."

"I finally got that anger out of my system today. Knowing Chuanzang, he definitely won't let this go."

"I humiliated him in front of so many classmates today. He'll probably keep giving me trouble from now on."

"But what good will that do him? I can handle him now."

Uchiha Matsuzaki sat on the ground, looking down at Konoha with a smile.

And so Uchiha Matsuzaki sat there, lost in thought for a long time. He hadn't done much that afternoon. After all, he'd gained such an absurdly powerful physique today, which was a truly wonderful thing for him.
