Are You My Sister or Not?

"It's getting late. I should head home, pack my things, and get ready for the picnic tomorrow."

Uchiha Matsuzaki felt there was nothing left to do, so he stood up and decided to head home.

Just as he was about to leave the back mountain, he could still hear the sounds of Might Guy training.

"As expected. Keep it up; I'll be looking forward to seeing you get stronger and stronger." Uchiha Matsuzaki chuckled softly, sighing with emotion.

Leaving the back mountain, Uchiha Matsuzaki arrived at the center of the village, where he noticed many people were already out and about.

"I should just go home. Being out here feels pointless. If I go home and get to sleep early, tomorrow will be here before I know it."

Uchiha Matsuzaki said this in a nonchalant tone.

It was quite late by the time he returned home. Seeing the meal his mother had left for him on the table, he smiled gently, finished eating, and went straight to his room to rest.

Early the next morning, Uchiha Matsuzaki was dragged out of bed by his younger sister.

"Brother, get up! It's getting late. Aren't you going on a picnic today?"

Uchiha Ke said this while shaking her brother's arm.

Uchiha Matsuzaki rubbed his eyes and looked out the window, noticing that the sky had indeed brightened, but he still felt like he hadn't slept enough.

"What time is it?"

"Seven-oh-one!"

"Damn it, you're waking me up at seven?"

"Are you even my sister?"

Uchiha Matsuzaki said, feeling completely drained of energy.

"Hurry up and get up. Mom is making you a bento outside. Get dressed and pack up; it's almost time to leave."

Uchiha Ke suddenly yanked his blanket off and said with a smile.

No matter what, he could never stay angry at his sister. He just shook his head, sighed, and slowly climbed out of bed.

"Fine, fine. Since I'm already up, I might as well wash up. The timing is just right anyway, even though I was planning on sleeping in."

Uchiha Matsuzaki put on his clothes and said with a smile.

Just like that, Uchiha Matsuzaki was successfully hauled out of bed by his sister. If she hadn't woken him up so early, he might have actually overslept.

After packing everything he needed, Uchiha Matsuzaki grabbed the bento his mother had made and stepped out the door.

"Wake up, man. I went to bed early enough last night, so why am I still so sleepy?"

"This is the first time in this life... no, I should say the first time in both my lives that I'm going on a picnic!"

"I don't know why, but I'm genuinely excited. I can't wait to see them."

Uchiha Matsuzaki adjusted his clothes and stared quietly at the road ahead.

He quickened his pace and arrived at the school gate half an hour before the agreed-upon time.

"Hey, why is it just you, Yamamoto? Where is everyone else?"

Upon arriving at the school gate, Uchiha Matsuzaki saw only Yamamoto Takeshi and asked him.

"Matsuzaki, you're here! I found out yesterday that we were going on a picnic today, so I was too excited to wait. I got up at 6:00 this morning, and I'm feeling full of energy!"

Yamamoto Takeshi said with a sunny disposition.

It had to be said that his friend was truly an incredibly optimistic person.
