Are You Even My Sister?

"It's getting late. We should head home, get our things ready, and go on the outing tomorrow."

Uchiha Matsuzaki felt he had nothing else to do, so he got up and headed home.

Just as he was about to leave the training ground, he could still hear Might Guy training.

"Just as I thought. Keep it up. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much stronger you'll get." Uchiha Matsuzaki smiled softly and said with a sigh.

After leaving the training ground, Uchiha Matsuzaki reached the center of the village. He noticed that many people were already out and about.

"I should head home. Being outside feels pointless. I'll get home and go to bed early. That way, tomorrow will come before I know it."

Uchiha Matsuzaki spoke casually.

By the time he got home, it was already late. Seeing the food his mother had left for him on the table, he smiled softly. After finishing it, he went straight to his room to rest.

Early the next morning, Uchiha Matsuzaki was dragged out of bed by his younger sister.

"Big brother, get up! It's getting late. Aren't you going on an outing today?"

Uchiha Ke said, tugging at her brother's hand and shaking it.

Uchiha Matsuzaki rubbed his eyes, then turned to look out the window. It was already bright, but he still felt like he hadn't gotten enough sleep!

"What time is it?"

"Seven oh one!"

"Seriously? You're waking me up at seven?"

"Are you even my sister?"

Uchiha Matsuzaki said, feeling completely drained.

"Come on, get up. Mom's making you a bento. Hurry up and get ready. It's almost time to leave."

Uchiha Ke suddenly pulled the covers off him and smiled.

No matter what, he had never gotten angry at his younger sister. He could only shake his head gently, sigh, and slowly get out of bed.

"Fine, fine. Since I'm already up, I might as well wash up. The timing's just right, anyway. I'd been hoping to sleep in."

Uchiha Matsuzaki put on his clothes and said with a smile.

And so, Uchiha Matsuzaki was successfully hauled out of bed by his younger sister. If she hadn't made him get up so early, he might really have slept in too long.

Once he'd finished getting everything ready, Uchiha Matsuzaki took the bento his mother had made and left the house.

"Come on, wake up. I went to bed early last night, so why am I still a little sleepy?"

"This is the first outing of my life... no, I mean, of both my lives!"

"I don't know why, but I'm actually really excited. I can't wait to see them."

Uchiha Matsuzaki straightened his clothes, then gazed quietly down the road ahead.

He picked up his pace and arrived at his school half an hour before the agreed time.

"Huh, Yamamoto, you're the only one here? Where is everyone else?"

When Uchiha Matsuzaki reached the school gate, he saw Yamamoto Takeshi standing there alone and asked him.

"Matsuzaki, you're here! As soon as I found out yesterday that we were going out today, I couldn't wait to get started. I got up at six this morning, and now I'm bursting with energy!"

Yamamoto Takeshi said brightly.

His friend really was an incredibly optimistic person.
