Seeing Uchiha Matsuzaki prepare for an attack, the monster foolishly mimicked his movements.

"What is going on? Is this guy just not very bright?"

"This is hardly the time to be thinking about his intelligence; we need to hurry up and finish him off."

"Even though I know he has regenerative abilities, I still don't know his weaknesses. I'll have to figure them out while we fight."

Uchiha Matsuzaki watched the monster before him mirroring his every move and muttered to himself.

With that, Uchiha Matsuzaki gripped his blade tightly and charged forward again at top speed.

The monster also rushed toward Uchiha Matsuzaki at that very moment.

As they collided, they unleashed identical attacks, causing them to crash into each other.

The speed was immense, and since they were using the exact same techniques, it seemed this monster possessed a powerful ability to mimic.

Realizing the current situation was disadvantageous, Uchiha Matsuzaki instantly retreated.

"Chidori!"

Uchiha Matsuzaki sheathed his blade and unleashed his ninjutsu.

His right hand was suddenly wreathed in flickering, crackling lightning.

"This is my first time using this technique. I have to admit, it's pretty cool."

"Here I go!"

With a smile on his face, Uchiha Matsuzaki vanished from his spot.

He reappeared directly in front of the monster, catching it completely off guard.

By the time the monster reacted, it was already too late; Uchiha Matsuzaki's lightning-charged hand had already struck its neck.

"This... oh no!"

Seeing that his strike had no effect, Uchiha Matsuzaki's composure shattered.

He suddenly realized that the monster's neck was the hardest part of its body; it was the only logical explanation, otherwise that blow should have decapitated it.

"Damn it, how is it so tough?"

Uchiha Matsuzaki retreated and glared at the monster.

Just as Uchiha Matsuzaki was searching for a solution, the monster suddenly went berserk and launched a rapid assault.

Caught off guard, Uchiha Matsuzaki was ambushed, leaving three deep claw marks on his arm.

"Damn it, I've lost all my advantages!"

Uchiha Matsuzaki clutched his arm and stared at the monster.

Watching from the sidelines, Chestnut Snow noticed something was wrong.

"Matsuzaki, attack the monster's crown!"

"Trust me, that's the only way to defeat him!"

Chestnut Snow shouted at Uchiha Matsuzaki.

Hearing Chestnut Snow's words, Uchiha Matsuzaki didn't hesitate and grabbed his blade once more.

For some inexplicable reason, Uchiha Matsuzaki felt an overwhelming urge to trust what Chestnut Snow had just said.

"Alright..."

Ignoring his injured arm, Uchiha Matsuzaki gripped his blade with both hands, fixed his eyes on the monster's crown, gritted his teeth, and vanished from his spot, sprinting toward the monster.

In an instant, Uchiha Matsuzaki's blade swung toward the monster, but the creature wasn't a pushover and raised its hands above its head to block the strike.

However, what the monster never expected was for Uchiha Matsuzaki to suddenly vanish in mid-air and reappear behind it.
