Am I Really That Interesting?

"By the way, you should pay special attention to the Uchiha Clan. I remember there's a child in their clan named Uchiha Matsuzaki. He's incredibly strong."

"With his help, the future of Konoha will surely be bright."

Uchiha Matsuzaki could hear their conversation perfectly from where he stood nearby.

"Why am I involved? What's going on?"

"All right, that's all. You can go back now. Remember, keep tomorrow's business confidential. Just say we're testing the students' abilities."

With that, the masked man vanished in an instant.

"This world is about to change drastically. Who knows what the future holds?"

Namikaze Minato gazed at the moon overhead and shook his head as he spoke.

Then he slowly went downstairs and returned to the Hokage Office.

Uchiha Matsuzaki only came out after he was sure they'd both left.

"What exactly is going on?"

"Why can't I make sense of their conversation?"

"Most importantly, why do they need to pay special attention to me? Am I really that interesting?"

Uchiha Matsuzaki had a lot of questions, but no way to get answers.

"If they're going to test our abilities at school tomorrow, I'll just wait and see."

"Namikaze Minato really is a good person, so I don't need to worry about him."

Uchiha Matsuzaki scratched his head and thought to himself.

"Ding! Sign-in successful. Obtained Rasengan, Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, and Big Ball Rasengan."

Uchiha Matsuzaki could hardly believe his ears when he heard the rewards.

"W-wait, is this a Rasengan package?"

"I can't believe I got a reward that's practically a whole Rasengan family."

Uchiha Matsuzaki said in disbelief.

"The moon is so round!"

"It's almost as round as my Rasengan. My strength has improved again!"

"The Rasengan is incredibly versatile. Now I'll have all sorts of ways to attack."

Uchiha Matsuzaki said with a smile.

"I should head home now. It's getting late!"

As soon as Uchiha Matsuzaki finished speaking, he vanished from where he stood. In the blink of an eye, he appeared at his front door.

"Big brother, what took you so long?"

As soon as Uchiha Matsuzaki got home, his little sister had already been waiting for him for quite a while.

"I suddenly remembered I had something to take care of, so I went and handled it. Sorry I got back so late and made you and Mom worry."

Uchiha Matsuzaki awkwardly told a little lie and apologized.

"All right, all right. Hurry inside and eat. We saved you some food on the table."

Uchiha Ke took Uchiha Matsuzaki by the hand and led him inside as she spoke.

And so, Uchiha Matsuzaki sat in the dining room and finished the food that had been left for him.

"I'm full. I'm going to my room to rest. I'm really tired today."

Uchiha Matsuzaki wiped his mouth with a tissue as he spoke, then went into his room.

"Honestly! You don't care about your little sister at all. Are you even my real brother?"

Uchiha Ke grumbled after the bedroom door closed.

After returning to his room, Uchiha Matsuzaki didn't go to bed. Instead, he sat on the bed and thought about everything that had happened that day.

There had been so much to take in that he still hadn't figured any of it out.

Whether it was the monster he'd encountered that day or the things the Fourth Hokage had said on the rooftop, he couldn't make sense of any of it.
