Background

Ke is Uchiha Matsuzaki's younger sister. While shopping with him in Konoha, she was abducted in a crowded street by enemies whose real target was Matsuzaki. The kidnappers used her as leverage, but Matsuzaki defeated them and carried her home after confirming that she had not been seriously injured. Ke later woke with no memory of the abduction. 10 11 12 13

After graduating from the ninja academy, Ke entered the Anbu. Matsuzaki trusted her enough to bring her into his own team, expanding it to six members. 255

Ke wanted to accompany her brother on missions rather than remain behind. Although Matsuzaki initially intended for her to handle minor tasks, he agreed that she could join missions once she met his required strength level—and promised that she would remain in his squad. 299 300

She began formal training under Matsuzaki after the New Year and later joined a seven-day special-training expedition to the Forest of Death with him, Uzuki Yugao, and the other trainees.
