Hello, everyone. I'm Chopin.

It had been a long time since I last wrote one of these launch messages, so I decided to improvise and write one today.

The book had already completed a week-long trial run and successfully advanced. It would be available to members tonight.

The first day's followership, subscriptions, and popularity would all depend on you esteemed readers.

I would like to thank all of you esteemed readers for following along.

To be honest, I had been rather hesitant when writing this book.

Because of the subject matter, my timeline placed me in the same generation of Shrek members as Dai Yaoheng, Ma Xiaotao, and the other Inner Court students. In other words, characters like Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong, as well as the beginning of the main storyline, would only appear around the middle of the plot.

The material during this period needed to be original on my part.

To avoid unnecessary misunderstandings, Chopin would reveal a little spoiler about what came next: the protagonist would not participate in the tournament as a reserve team member.

The protagonist would take part in his second tournament, which was the first tournament of Huo Yuhao's era.

After that came the development of the other characters.

The undisputed main heroine of this book was Sister Lexuan.

After much careful consideration during this period, the book would have only one heroine. Brothers hoping for multiple heroines, I could only say sorry.

During this time, we would also encounter another female character, the Three-Eyed Golden Lion.

As for the Auspicious Beast, her future portrayal would lean only toward that of a close friend. I wanted to make her more rational, responsible, and dependable.

Then there were two rather tricky characters.

The first was Tang Ya.

As the wife of that prison brother, should I save her or not? Save her family, and save her from becoming an Evil Soul Master in the first place.

The second was Jiang Nan.

Those who understood would understand.

I would decide later based on the opinions of you esteemed readers.
