Author's Note

Uh.

Hello everyone, I am Chopin.

It has been a long time since I wrote an author's note for a book launch, so today, I'll write one on the fly.

First off, this book has completed its one-week trial period and successfully advanced; it will be going behind the paywall tonight.

For the first day of the launch, my popularity and subscription numbers rely entirely on you, my dear readers.

I would like to thank all of you for following along.

To be honest, I was quite hesitant when I started writing this book.

Because of the choice of subject matter, my timeline places the protagonist in the same cohort of Shrek students as Dai Yaoheng, Ma Xiaotao, and the rest of the Inner Court. This means that characters like Huo Yuhao and Wang Dong, as well as the start of the main plot, won't appear until around the middle of the story.

I have to create original content to fill this period.

To avoid any unnecessary confusion, Chopin will spoil some future content: the protagonist will not participate in the tournament as part of the reserve team.

The protagonist will participate in his second tournament, which is the first tournament of the Huo Yuhao era.

Next is the development of other characters.

The main heroine of this book is, without a doubt, Le Xuan.

After much careful consideration, I have decided that this book will have a single heroine. I apologize to those brothers who were hoping for a harem.

During this period, the protagonist will come into contact with another female character, the Three-Eyed Golden Ni.

As for the Auspicious Beast, her future development will lean towards being a close friend. I want to portray her as more rational and responsible.

Then there are two rather abstract characters.

The first is Tang Ya.

As the wife of the "prison brother," should I save her? Save her family and prevent her from becoming an Evil Soul Master?

The second is Jiang Nan.

The reason is self-explanatory.

I will make my decisions based on the feedback from you, my dear readers.
