"Mom, I'm home!"

When Inuzuka Hana returned home from school, this was the scene that greeted her.

Her mother and three aunts close to the family, their cheeks flushed and clothes disheveled, raised their cups.

They were toasting the man at the table.

She frowned and looked carefully. Wasn't this the stepfather her mom had found for her?

"Want to sit down and have something to eat with us?"

"No, Mom. I already ate before coming home!"

But the painful part was that the more she shook her head, the more vividly she remembered the sounds she had accidentally heard at night in the past.
