Founding

Ye Tianyi chose the sect’s deliberately ostentatious name after abandoning the even more provocative “World’s Number One Sect.” He intended the title “First Divine Sect of All Ages” to overwhelm others through sheer presence, while Mu Ling’er warned that it would get him beaten to death 965.

He registered the sect with the Heavenly Sect Association in Dream Creation Heavenly City. The association managed formal recognition and rankings for sects; its staff and onlookers reacted with disbelief when Ye Tianyi gave the name 965.

Feng Yao helped construct the sect through the Creation Laws. Its plaque was more than a hundred meters long, bore the sect’s six-character name, and could be seen from distant cities 969. The initial complex contained thirteen palaces, with Ye Tianyi planning eventual expansion to 36, 72, or 108 palaces 977.

Recruitment and Expansion

The sect attracted experts by curing long-standing hidden ailments and promising assistance with cultivation breakthroughs. Members were expected to serve the sect wholeheartedly, including in conflicts with other sects 977.

Its early membership included many former villains, such as the Poison Emperor, the Rakshasa Couple, the Soul Devouring Venerable, and the White-Haired Witch. By its official-establishment celebration, it had roughly 100 members: about 30 former villains, more than 30 recruits from public postings, and more than 30 newly persuaded experts 1016.

Hai Fengkuo’s breakthrough into the Ancient God King Realm became a major recruitment proof-of-concept. Ye Tianyi used the heavenly lightning from the breakthrough to create the Nine Heavens Divine Thunder Formation rather than allowing the tribulation to destroy the sect 1015.

Rise in the Lower Domain

The sect openly attacked neighboring forces, defeating the Heaven Transcending Sect and offering its defeated experts a place in the sect. Wang Ping’an declared that the sect would eventually fight Spirit Gates, Immortal Gates, and Imperial Gates alike 1031.

Within two days, it destroyed four sects, causing Medicine God Mountain and the Medicine Emperor Sect to regard it as a rapidly escalating threat 1045. It later defeated the Imperial Gate-level Divine Wind Sect despite a major disparity in strength, an outcome described as unprecedented in the Domain of the Gods 1054.

The sect continued to expand through victories and acquired resources. It absorbed resources from the Nine Yang Sect, recruited surviving experts when useful, and developed enough infrastructure to include peaks, palaces, and halls 1044 1055.

Upper Domain Re-establishment

In the Upper Domain, Ye Tianyi founded another sect under the name Divine Machine Sect near the established Divine Machine Sect, intending to compete directly for the divine-machine market 1526. Feng Yao used the Creation Laws to raise its initial grounds in two days 1527.

The Upper Domain sect recruited powerful experts by offering guaranteed realm advancement below the Eternal Supreme Realm. In fewer than three months, it reportedly gained about 1,000 Ancient God King Realm experts 1548 1549. Ye Tianyi then renamed it the First Divine Sect of All Ages, causing widespread speculation that he possessed backing from the God Domain 1549 1550.
