Background / History

Yi Qiyue has no knowledge of her parents, relatives, birthplace, or the circumstances of her first appearance in the world. Though she retains childhood memories, every investigation into her origins led nowhere. Her exceptional talent nevertheless made her the foremost genius of her generation. 1815 3255 3256

Before joining Martial God Academy, she held authority in the Demon Race as the commandery princess of Fairy Commandery and as the prefecture lord of Goddess Prefecture. Her unorthodox conduct—especially gambling and tricking people for money—drew criticism, but her leadership during crises secured her position and public respect. 1412 1416

While investigating the supposed immortal of Creation Peak, Yi Qiyue encountered Ye Tianyi, who was posing as that figure. After losing a confrontation with his disciple Wang Jinfu, she accepted compensation from Ye Tianyi rather than exposing him.
