• Fu Qingyang and Zhang Yuanqing staged Yuanshi Tianzun’s death to draw out Black Impermanence, then used Unjust Heaven’s corpse and a bronze bowl to arrange a meeting.
• Zhang Yuanqing shared Black Impermanence’s plans with Fu Qingyang and the Mistress of Stop-Killing Palace, while the factions converged on the supposed trade at Songhai No. 3 Elementary School.
• Black Impermanence’s school meeting proved to be a diversion, but Zhang Yuanqing found his true body, survived his attack, and watched a mysterious voice kill him.
• Zhang Yuanqing recovered the Fallen Holy Grail and Black Impermanence’s Roster, discovering that Brother Bing’s page had been torn out.
• After Zhang received A-rank merit, Li Xianzong took Pingtai Hospital’s staff and patients hostage to lure him out, and Zhang rushed inside to protect Jiang Yu'er.
• Zhang Yuanqing helped defeat the kidnappers and evacuate hostages, but Li Xianzong wounded him in the fog and escaped as the Ghost Bride took control of Zhang’s body.
• Zhang Yuanqing recovered, reclaimed the Red Dancing Shoes, and trained with Guan Ya while Li Xianzong threatened to hunt him and abducted ten official Walkers.

Zhang Yuanqing led his team through Yin-Yang Town, defeated the Mage and Li Xianzong, and gained the Yin-Yang Robe and a new guild. After returning to reality, he faced a comprehensive examination, joined the White Tiger Guard, and became a target of Demon Eye Heavenly King.

• Zhang Yuanqing became captain of his Yin-Yang Town team, but Granny Wang cursed them into cats and unleashed her monstrous son, and Zhangyuanqing broke the curse array and restrained the beast.
• Zhang Yuanqing’s team investigated Widow Xu and Squire Zhao, rescued Guan Ya and Queen from Infant Spirits, and joined Li Xianzong’s group in attacking the Mage.
• After both factions defeated the Mage, Li Xianzong seized the staff and drove Zhang Yuanqing’s team to flee, and Zhang Yuanqing opened Yin-Yang Recluse’s coffin and used the Yin-Yang Robe to kill Li Xianzong and the ratman.
• The Spirit Realm awarded Zhang Yuanqing a Guild Token and advanced him to Level 3, and he founded Return of the Dead and later read Yin-Yang Recluse’s cultivation journal.
• During a comprehensive examination, Zhang Yuanqing passed the Tiger Tally’s questions about Dark Night Rose and the Demon Lord’s succession, then accepted Fu Qingyang’s invitation to join the White Tiger Guard.

Zhang Yuanqing rescued Kou Beiyue and exposed Chiyue An’s crimes at Bronze Sparrow House, but an unknown killer silenced Chiyue An before he revealed his backers. Demon Eye Heavenly King’s pursuit then forced Zhang Yuanqing to seek concealment and help arrange an ambush with the Songhai Branch elders and Master Wuhen.

• Zhang Yuanqing rescued Kou Beiyue from official Walkers and survived Demon Eye Heavenly King’s questioning without revealing that he was Yuanshi Tianzun.
• Zhang Yuanqing investigated Kou Yusi’s murder with Kou Beiyue and uncovered Chiyue An’s protection of the trafficking and abuse at Bronze Sparrow House.
• Zhang Yuanqing and Kou Beiyue killed the supernatural bodyguards at Bronze Sparrow House, and Ling Jun subdued Chiyue An after arriving with Guan Ya and Li Dongze.
• Fu Qingyang persuaded the elders to present the raid as an operation against Dark Night Rose, and the Songhai Branch forgave Kou Beiyue while Master Wuhen accepted his return.
• Fu Qingyang and Zhang Yuanqing questioned Chiyue An about his backers, but a remote Voodoo Master ritual killed him and left no spirit residue.

Zhang Yuanqing entered the arena tournament, exposed Demon Eye’s account of the Chu Family massacre, and advanced to an S-rank dungeon contest. As the contest began, he was named the suspect in a murder scenario and started building his defense.

• The elders captured Demon Eye Heavenly King and imprisoned him in the zoo, while Fu Qingyang explained that the Chu Family’s rule-type item could let Demon Eye revive.
• Zhang Yuanqing helped Chen Yuanjun secure a promotion, prepared for the arena tournament, and refined a Bewitching Demon corpse into his first yin corpse, Undead No. 1.
• At the tournament, Zhang Yuanqing defeated Maoshan Sorcerer with Little Doubi, Undead No. 1, and a straw man, then beat Crossing Pawn by using Mirror Flower, Water Moon to deceive him.
• Demon Eye told Zhang Yuanqing that Extinction and Ghost Blade destroyed the Chu Family on Asura’s orders to seize Mother Goddess’s Womb for Dark Night Rose’s Night Wanderer leader.
• The tournament was canceled, and the eight quarterfinalists were assigned an S-rank dungeon, and Zhang Yuanqing also discovered he could briefly unleash power beyond the Transcendent Stage by controlling his old illness with blue pills.
• The Spirit Realm chose Zhang Yuanqing as the murder scenario’s suspect, and he used ashes and replenishing soil to retrieve a key before reaching Professor Li’s room.
