The squad had three people, two men and one woman. One of them was Asian, though Zhang Yuanqing had no idea whether he was a Spirit Realm Walker from the Second District or of Chinese descent.
The woman leading them had brownish-blonde hair, pale green eyes, and rather attractive features. She held a black staff topped with a gemstone wreathed in streams of green air.
Her body floated half a foot above the ground as she hurried over with her team. She was full of vigilance, but after seeing the three corpses on the floor, her expression shifted to shock and surprise.
When she saw the charred wound on the golden crew-cut man's chest, the last of her wariness faded. "Did you kill them all?"
Zhang Yuanqing leaned lazily against a display case and replied with a smile, "Introduce yourself before asking questions. That's basic courtesy."
The brownish-blonde-haired woman said, "Alicia, from Heaven's Punishment's Wind City branch. Level-six Windrunner, experience points: 96%."
A peak Saint. Zhang Yuanqing nodded. Anyone with experience above 90% belonged among the peak Saints.
She then introduced the companion beside her. "His Spirit Realm ID is Federal No History. He's from the Sea God Church."
The burly, obese man with a face full of beard nodded in greeting. Staring at the three corpses, he said irritably, "You're a Lightning Mage? We've been hunting those guys for a long time. If we hadn't been worried about damaging the display cases and activating those artifacts, causing unnecessary trouble, we'd have turned those three into points long ago. You got a free bargain, kid."
The Siren's arrogance was on full display in him.
*So the commotion earlier was caused by your fight? No wonder those three were so desperate to fight over the artifacts. They were being hunted and
