November has finally come to an end.

If there's one keyword for this month, it's "exhausted."

If there is a second possibility, it could be self-pity.

I doubt anyone could tell that I kept updating during the last week while suffering from a cold, fever, headache, rhinitis, sneezing, conjunctivitis, watery eyes, tonsillitis, and bronchitis all at once, right?

I was really afraid I had contracted the virus, but thankfully the test results were normal.

Please allow me to give myself a three-second round of applause for my amazing body.

My wife was sick two weeks ago, and I was able to take a day off to take care of her.

But if I'm sick, I'll try to tough it out.

If you can't resist, then grit your teeth and type away with the determination to die, constantly yelling in your mind, "What the hell are you afraid of? If you have the guts, let me die!"

I never want to be someone who plays the victim, and I don't like to complain to others when I have problems.

They have even less respect for effeminate men who act coy and affected when they get sick.

I'm a man, as long as I'm not dead, I can keep working, what's there to be afraid of!

Every time I post a separate chapter to ask for leave, it's because things are really bad and I'm afraid of suddenly stopping updates and disappointing everyone, so I give advance notice.

As I've said before, I absolutely hate taking leave.

Taking leave, especially due to illness, is often seen as a form of surrender or giving up.

Give up on pursuing your dreams.

And surrender to the disease.

If grown men live like this, what dignity do they have left?

Men are creatures who will risk their lives for the sake of saving face.

So in November, I took leave because my wife was sick.

But I didn't even tell you when I was sick.

I know I can pull through.

No prior notification of vaccinations is required.

Just like now, on the first day of December, if I weren't writing this monthly summary and chatting with everyone, no one would know that this man spent every day of the past week holding tissues, crying his eyes out, sneezing until his head ached, his back muscles spasmed, and his eyes were so swollen he couldn't open them, yet he still insisted on writing from day to night.

If someone who didn't know the story saw this, they might think that Lao Tzu cried while writing the story!

Fortunately.

Everything is fine now.

By the end of November, I was almost fully recovered.

Let's officially begin the closing phase this December.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, this book will be completed in early January, with a word count of just over 1 million. This is all the outline has been done, and the entire story is just for that final twist. Hundreds of thousands of words have already been laid out, and if it's not concluded soon, it will be unwatchable.

To be honest, it's a bit of a pity. It was published in July, and I started receiving royalties in September.

I only earned money for four months at most.

Even with a large investment, you might not earn this much.

Who doesn't like money?

It's a pity there weren't any more outlines; it's really bad luck to just submit something half-heartedly.

I'd better just stick to the plan and write it down honestly, at least so I don't look down on myself.

Thank you all for your understanding.

Even though I write terrible stuff while I'm sick, you guys are still willing to pay to read it. You're as kind as angels!

The ending is the climax of the entire book, where all the foreshadowing will be answered and all the groundwork will be laid out. This is the part I've been looking forward to since the beginning of the book, and I believe it won't disappoint you.

This can be considered as fulfilling what I said when I launched the product.

It has a beginning and an end.
