World Tower rarely had levels where one could rest easy.
Even on some floors that had already been cleared, changes in the environment would force Tower Climbers to hurry on to the next level.
The floor Wang Wen was currently on was a realistic level steeped in an urban atmosphere.
There was food, drink, and air conditioning. If there were no time limit, resting until one was fully recovered before entering the next floor—or even staying here forever as a stranded resident—would both be excellent choices.
Unfortunately, the aircraft had said that this level's progress would update automatically.
That meant that even if Wang Wen stood still, enemies would come looking for him on their own.
In fact, before Wang Wen had even run past several intersections, he heard the sound of cars outside.
