Background and History

Ren Ruanruan was travelling with Wang Wen and Zhu Xingguo by the time their group reached the early Tower floors. When Yao Shi abandoned the team, she defended Wang Wen and looked forward to the team's future, particularly its unusual bond between the calm captain and the earnest Zhu Xingguo 84.

Scientific Deciphering was her strongest discipline. On an early secret-chamber stage, she pushed herself into a temporary Veilbreaking state in an attempt to help Wang Wen, but the effort left her injured and unable to identify the chamber's flaw 84. Her understanding of Tower climbing also changed on Floor 71, when Liu Bei died after using external equipment in a movement-speed mechanism. Initially disturbed that climbers knowingly withheld such information for profit, she came to accept the World Tower's harsh logic while recognizing that Wang Wen would protect his own teammates 101.

She was later poisoned into a deep coma by cave creatures, with a purplish-black wound on her ankle. She initially struggled with the Tower's ruthless culture, especially the willingness of climbers to let strangers die for rewards.
