Manifestation and Possession

• Martial Soul Possession manifests a martial soul’s traits directly on its user. Yu Mingxiao develops golden slit pupils, dragon scales, horns, and an increased aura while possessing the Radiant Sacred Dragon. 17
• High-quality beast martial souls can possess innate combat abilities before obtaining corresponding Soul Rings. The Radiant Sacred Dragon naturally uses dragon claws and Radiant Dragon Breath. 9
• Martial Soul quality can create major innate advantages: ordinary fire-type martial souls may need a Soul Ring before gaining flame breath, while Yu Mingxiao’s dragon martial soul already possesses it. 9
• Some martial souls exert bloodline suppression. The Dragon-Slaying Blade Martial Soul causes Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon martial souls to tremble as if facing a natural nemesis. 26

Soul Rings and Advancement

Mutation and Evolution

• Martial Souls are not fixed: mutations may make them stronger or weaker, beneficial or malignant. 168
• Yu Xiaogang’s initial dragon phantom shatters during awakening and becomes Luo Sanpao, a pale-black creature resembling both a pig and dog; the event is regarded as a malignant mutation. 3
• Liu Erlong’s Fire Dragon is also a mutation, but it is considered a favorable one rather than a malignant mutation. 22
• Evolution can be driven by rare dragon-origin power. The Radiant Sacred Dragon temporarily becomes the Radiant Dragon King after absorbing residual Dragon King aura, then later stabilizes through Golden Dragon King origin energy. 36 68
• Dragon King remnant souls can merge directly into an existing martial soul rather than becoming a separate one, as happened when the Ice and Fire Dragon Kings’ energies fused with Yu Mingxiao’s Radiant Dragon King. 97

Martial Soul Fusion Skills

• A conventional Martial Soul Fusion Skill requires two or more Soul Masters whose martial souls are highly compatible and whose minds are synchronized; it merges their soul power and martial souls to produce power beyond their normal limits. 52
• Yu Xiaogang and Chao Tianxiang develop Poison Dominates the World: Dragon-Snake Transformation, which produces a poisonous dragon from their fused martial souls; Yu Xiaogang holds dominant control over the technique. 180
• Yu Mingxiao demonstrates a rare self Martial Soul Fusion Skill by merging the Radiant Dragon King with the Dragon-Slaying Blade. 51 52
