Dear readers, this is my first attempt at writing, so there are inevitably some flaws. I hope you'll be understanding.
After reading everyone's comments, I've also reflected on the story. Its setting does differ from the original, but since this is fan fiction, some differences are based on my own interpretation.
Some readers have raised questions about the Dragon God's power level. In the original works, San Shao gave each book a different version of the setting, and the Dragon God is described differently in Douluo Dalu III and Douluo Dalu IV. I've mostly followed the version in Douluo Dalu III, while adding some ideas of my own.
The Dragon God in this story can be understood as a new Dragon God: same body, different core.
The main reason I wanted to write a story about Huo Yuhao and Tang Wulin was that Huo Gua had it rough in the original, and Tang Wulin's life was tragic too. (If you've read the original, you know all about God King Tang's antics.) I wanted Gu Yuan's (the Dragon God's) intervention to let them live differently, so the story focuses on how they change.
Some readers have also questioned the plot. This isn't the kind of story that's pure wish fulfillment. Of course, everyone has different tastes, and what matters most is reading what you enjoy. I'll also take everyone's feedback to heart and work on creating a better story!
