Entering Shrek Academy

Yan Shaozhe's mouth twitched as he looked at the brat before him, his eyes filled with an indescribable complexity.

It was this very brat who had kept his Twin Martial Souls—the second being a Body Martial Soul—a secret, causing Yan Shaozhe to misjudge him and turn him away, only to end up with two bumps on his head courtesy of Mu En.

No!

Adding the one he just received, Yan Shaozhe had been knocked on the head by Mu En a total of three times.

While not serious injuries, they were painful, and more importantly, incredibly humiliating.

Once Yan Shaozhe confirmed that Mu En had left, he took a deep breath, a flicker of light in his eyes, and forced a smile onto his face:

"Tianyu, come with me!"

"I will first take you to report to the Department Head, Du Weilun, then head to the cafeteria for a meal, and finally to your assigned dormitory!"

Feng Tianyu could see that Yan Shaozhe didn't have a high opinion of him, but he wasn't worried; Yan Shaozhe couldn't possibly cover the sky with one hand at Shrek Academy.

Now that he had Mu En backing him, he could walk sideways through Shrek Academy without a care.

He held his head high and said:

"Understood, Dean!"

Yan Shaozhe walked in front, with Feng Tianyu and Grey Wolf following behind.

Yan Shaozhe chatted with him, lost in thought:

"Tianyu, can you put your Martial Soul away? A grey wolf walking on its hind legs like a human will easily cause a commotion if it wanders around the academy."

Feng Tianyu shook his head and answered firmly:

"The soul ring can be retracted, but the Martial Soul cannot. I promised Grey Wolf I would give it full freedom. It is my partner and comrade-in-arms; I must respect its own wishes."

Yan Shaozhe was left speechless. Respecting the wishes of a Martial Soul—this was truly bizarre.

He glanced out of the corner of his eye at Grey Wolf, who was looking around, its wolf face full of human-like curiosity. If not for its appearance, who would ever guess this was a Martial Soul?

Yan Shaozhe had a vague feeling that this boy and his wolf would definitely stir up quite a bit of trouble in the academy.

But thinking of Feng Tianyu's talent—Twin Martial Souls, one external and one Body Martial Soul—even if they did cause trouble, the academy wouldn't expel them for breaking school rules.

"But that is not enough. The basic requirement for Outer Court Core Disciple is to be under 12 years old with soul power above level 15. Level 13 doesn't even meet the entry requirements."

"Do not be lazy in the academy. Focus on your cultivation and break through to level 15 as soon as possible."

Hearing the lecture, Feng Tianyu secretly pondered that by practicing his meditation technique with Grey Wolf, he could achieve double the cultivation speed.

After speaking, Yan Shaozhe led Feng Tianyu and Grey Wolf to Du Weilun's office.

When Du Weilun saw Yan Shaozhe, he didn't dare to be negligent, quickly standing up to salute:

Grey Wolf followed along, grumbling incessantly:

Watching Feng Tianyu follow, Yan Shaozhe began to introduce the benefits of being a core disciple:
