Background / History
Leader Wang led a five-person soul master squad hired to search the Sunset Forest for medicinal herbs. He was a level 46 Power Attack System Soul Ancestor, making him marginally stronger in soul power than the level 45 Ye Tian, who joined the mission as an additional escort. He initially kept a professional, emotionally distant manner toward Ye Tian. 23
Before the mission, Wang had worked with Yao Rao since both were Soul Elders. The pair traveled north from the Star Luo Empire, cultivating through a mutually beneficial scheme: Yao Rao drained recruited companions of soul power and life force, while Wang used their resources for his own advancement. 24
Wang intended to sacrifice the squad's three Soul Elder members once the medicinal herbs had been secured. He also believed he could personally suppress Ye Tian, whom he judged only by the strength Ye Tian had displayed publicly. 24
