Background / History

Kevin was originally a hopeful young man who believed humanity could overcome Honkai. The sacrifice of the Sixth Herrscher changed that outlook into a determination to eradicate Honkai entirely. In a severely deteriorated mental state, he accepted Fusion Warrior surgery, with Elysia requesting Mobius’s assistance for the dangerous procedure. 423

He survived the Previous Era’s Finality War and became the leader of the Flame-Chasers. In later generations, he led World Serpent and continued pursuing a plan he considered necessary for humanity’s survival. Gray Serpent reported the plan’s preparations to him in an ancient sanctuary, where Kevin ordered the operation to begin and received a legendary greatsword described as worthy of humanity’s future pioneer. 77

Kevin regarded Herrschers as enemies or potential enemies, shaped by his experience of personally killing several in the Previous Era. Watching Mei and the Herrscher of the Void fight during the livestream prompted him to reassess that absolute view. 58

His commitment to the Stigmata Project remained unwavering. Kevin argued that Earth had no alternative path against Honkai, even when that project meant abandoning humanity as it existed.
