Within the "endlessly" extending threshold space, the minds of those trapped within would inevitably crumble under the influence of the miasma.

By then, all manner of unbearable painful memories and mad thoughts would surge forth without end, giving rise to every kind of twisted hallucination.

Such individuals would also become "projection nodes" for practitioners of the Heart-Eroding Martial Path, sharing the excessive pain within their inner hell and helping expand the miasma's range of influence.

Thus, in a sense, those at this realm had completely broken through the barrier between the individual and the outside world. They had truly begun to "infect" reality, making it "inflame and fester."

Those who reached this realm could finally use their own extreme emotions and twisted will to weave a relatively stable, self-consistent mind-image spacetime of their own within the blurred "region" between material reality and the illusory mind.
