"Is something wrong with your body?"
At that, Illya looked up. She smiled faintly, trying to act as though nothing was wrong, but she met Sasuke's Sharingan.
Sasuke's expression showed not the slightest reaction, yet his Three-Tomoe Sharingan glimmered with a dark crimson light.
Seeing this, Illya looked around in confusion.
The area was bustling with people. No one would notice them, especially since Sasuke still had his head lowered.
Even so, revealing the Sharingan in front of ordinary people carried an enormous risk.
Perhaps noticing the unease in Illya's expression, the three tomoe in Sasuke's eyes spun before fading back to normal.
Even so, Sasuke's deep black eyes remained fixed on Illya.
This had not been happening to Illya for just a day or two.
Whenever it happened, Illya would become exceptionally tired and soon feel like sleeping.
Yet the next day, she would be perfectly fine again, making it seem as though she had merely been sleepy.
This was not the first time Sasuke had used the Sharingan to observe Illya.
Although Illya had not lost even the slightest bit of magical energy, it always became somewhat unstable at times like these.
That was the clue Sasuke had caught.
Seeing that the matter seemed to have been exposed, Illya raised her head and looked at Sasuke.
"So you noticed after all?"
With that, Illya gave a bitter laugh. Looking at the bustling street, she continued softly, "I'll explain it to you."
"It's just that right now, I want to find Kaoru more."
As soon as she finished speaking, the mentally strained Illya walked forward.
Sasuke followed Illya, his expression calm as he looked ahead.
"I don't really mind."
"But you should know that Kaoru already sees you as family."
Hearing that, Illya walked alongside Sasuke without saying anything.
