Beneath the majestic white city walls, the massive gates were tightly shut.

Atop the walls, several squads of soldiers patrolled back and forth with solemn expressions and weapons in hand, meticulously alert for anything suspicious.

They were the garrison troops charged with protecting the capital. Acting on orders from the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister's Residence, they had sealed off the entire city. Their squad's orders were to guard the city gates.
