Arc 13The Spear and the Lightning

Mordred challenged Leon while the Righteous Knights pursued the refugees, and Fujimaru Ritsuka sought Ozymandias’s help. The battles left Rhongomyniad wounded by a surprise attack as the conflict continued.

  • Mordred transformed into crimson lightning and declared he would attack Leon’s companions first, believing Leon could not stop him alone.
  • Artoria and Leon clashed while she asked him to consider Mordred’s motives, and Leon later began drawing an enormous Rune circle in the plaza.
  • The Righteous Knights located the refugees, while Sherlock Holmes warned Ritsuka about the Holy Spear before vanishing, and Ritsuka then questioned Romani’s trustworthiness.
  • Ozymandias agreed to test whether Ritsuka qualified to be his ally, and after fighting Chaldea’s Servants, he emerged exhausted but standing.
  • Mordred fought Artoria and Rhongomyniad, overwhelming the Holy Spear Goddess, while Hassan of the Hundred Faces died after a golden spear pierced her chest.
  • Mordred led Ritsuka and the others through the Great Pyramid Temple as tremors shook the passage, while Gawain fought through the Righteous Knights to reach the wounded Agravain.
  • Ritsuka faced Leon and later warned of a figure resembling Artoria, while Mash raised her shield and said the figure was not the real Artoria.
  • As Rhongomyniad confronted Ritsuka, a sword pierced her chest and shattered her spiritual core before she knocked the attacker’s weapon away.
