"Roar—!"
Medusa's resentment still lingered within the deep pit, unwilling to fade away.
Hatred left her in unbearable pain.
"King of the Underworld, I'll have to ask for your help this time!"
In the silent night,
Thaumas's Bracelet lit up with a profound black glow, which flowed forth toward Gorgon.
Like the chains of a soul-reaping envoy, the King of the Underworld's power restrained this remnant soul, tightly "grasping" her.
However,
the Bracelet lit up and flickered faintly.
"So that's how it is. You can awaken Medusa's consciousness, but it will dissipate... Thank you, King of the Underworld.
This is enough. I still want to try and let them properly bid farewell to this world together."
Thaumas collected Gorgon's resentment. He stored it within the Bracelet, using the King of the Underworld's power to restrain her madness.
As the next leading character, Medusa could not die too early.
Since Medusa's consciousness could be awakened, everything else would be easy.
Thus,
he hurried back along the path he had taken.
Let them have a beautiful dream, then—a gift to bid farewell to the world, woven by his own hands.
Come to think of it,
Thaumas had always possessed a rather peculiar Noble Phantasm. It was his first Noble Phantasm.
[Eternal Slumber in the Finale].
The lullaby played through an imitation divine lyre during the divine trial where he sent off the Nemean Lion and severed its head.
It could send people into beautiful dreams, then easily cut off their heads.
Although he could not directly use this Noble Phantasm now, since it received a boost from its legend and Thaumas had yet to become a Heroic Spirit.
That did not mean his lyre could not be used. Though it was somewhat inferior to directly wielding the Noble Phantasm, it was enough.
