The New Sword Form of Water Call

Sabito and Giyu, holding their unsheathed Nichirin Sword, both looked at Kujo Tachibana with bewildered expressions and asked:

"Mr. Kujo, why is it you?"

"How did you end up here?"

Kujo Tachibana looked at the duo who had just arrived with a face full of smiles and said:

"Oh, about that..."

"We'll talk later!"

"Your opponent right now is him!"

After saying this, Kujo Tachibana pointed his finger at the Hand Demon to the side.

Looking at the tall, grotesque demon whose entire body was covered in arms, Sabito and Giyu exchanged a glance, both revealing solemn expressions.

Observing their reactions, Kujo Tachibana paused slightly before continuing:

"This demon seems to have been captured by your master, Urokodaki."

"And it just told me that over the past few years, it has eaten quite a few boys wearing fox masks here on Mt. Fujikasane."

"It seems they all used Water Breathing!"

To the side, the Hand Demon scratched its head without a care, and patches of flesh were immediately scraped off by its own fingernails.

The Hand Demon wondered in its heart:

I don't remember saying it? But if I didn't say it, how does this guy know these things?

At this moment, the Hand Demon had fallen into deep self-doubt.

Kujo Tachibana paid no attention to the Hand Demon's reaction and continued:

"You know, this is the site for the Demon Slayer Corps official member selection, so I cannot interfere casually."

"Therefore, this battle between you must be fought by yourselves!"

As soon as Kujo Tachibana's voice fell, his entire figure vanished from the eyes of the two boys and the one demon without any warning!

The two of them, one from the left and one from the right, slashed toward the Hand Demon's neck!

After Giyu's Nichirin Sword severed two arms beside the left side of the Hand Demon's neck, the blade was grabbed by a third arm near its neck!

Meanwhile, Sabito's strike severed all the arms beside the right side of the Hand Demon's neck!

Sabito's Nichirin Sword drove straight in until it was blocked by the Hand Demon's spine.

The collision between the blade and the bone emitted a crisp "ding" sound!

Unfortunately, eighty percent of the force of Sabito's strike had already been blocked by the Hand Demon's arms, failing to complete the decapitation.

The fear of death from being nearly beheaded instantly awakened the Hand Demon.

Looking at the fox masks beside the two boys' foreheads, the Hand Demon burned with rage.

It controlled the nearly one hundred arms all over its body, causing them to grow rapidly!

In an instant, it knocked the two away.

Landing on the ground, Sabito and Giyu, having each taken dozens of heavy punches, were left dizzy and both collapsed to the ground.

Following closely, the numerous arms rapidly intertwined until they transformed into two long, massive giant arms!

Controlling these two giant arms from afar, the Hand Demon slammed them heavily toward the spot where the two had fallen, roaring loudly:

"Urokodaki!! Urokodaki!!"

"And you two brats!"

"All of you go to hell!"

At the critical moment, Sabito violently pushed Giyu aside, using the recoil to quickly roll backward while holding his sword.

"Thud..."

"Thud..."

After two muffled sounds, the solid forest floor had been smashed into two huge craters by the Hand Demon's strike!

"Yo! It has this move? I don't remember it being written in the anime!"

"Are those two not going to be able to hold out?"

Hiding in a nearby tree, Kujo Tachibana stroked his chin and muttered to himself.

Looking at the crater on the ground, Sabito and Giyu were instantly broken out in a cold sweat!

"Giyu! I'll pin down these two arms! You go and cut off its neck!" Sabito held his Nichirin Sword, blocked Giyu's path, and said with a resolute expression.

Giyu stepped forward, came to Sabito's side, shook his head, and said expressionlessly:

"I'll pin down these two arms, you go and cut its neck!"

Unfortunately, before the two could even finish assigning their tasks, the Hand Demon's attack had already arrived once more!

In their haste, the two hurriedly swung their blades to defend, their two small figures colliding with the giant arms before them like ants trying to shake a tree!

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

The next second, the two were turned into cannonballs, hammered dozens of meters away by the Hand Demon!

Upon landing, Giyu violently spat out a large mouthful of blood, his legs went weak, and he passed out just like that.

Sabito didn't fare much better; although he had used a Water Breathing form to deflect most of the force, his hands were injured by the impact, and the strength behind his sword swings was far less than before!

Kujo Tachibana, up in the tree, really couldn't hold back anymore and began to instruct Sabito down below:

"Sabito, you must maintain absolute focus during battle; do not get distracted!"

"And don't be impulsive, adjust your breathing!"

"Your strength is inferior to it, think about the characteristics of Water Breathing! Do not clash with it head-on!"

"Though stone is tough, water drops can pierce through it!"

"Also, this demon is actually not as formidable as you imagine!"

"Its attack speed is no faster than yours!"

"Furthermore, this form of attack is not flexible enough and requires a long charge time."

"Normally, you should be able to dodge it with your speed. If you let it hit you, that is your own failure!"

Sabito gripped his Nichirin Sword with both hands. Without looking for Kujo Tachibana's location, he just stared fixedly at the Hand Demon's body and nodded, signaling that he understood!

The next second, the Hand Demon's attack struck again!

"Inhale..."

"Water Breathing - Third Form - Flowing Dance!"

For the next fifteen minutes, Sabito did not attempt to counterattack again.

Relying solely on the acceleration provided by the Water Breathing form - Flowing Dance, he slipped around like a loach, dodging the Hand Demon's attacks.

Unable to land a hit for so long, the Hand Demon began to grow increasingly irritable, and the gaps between its two long, giant arms grew wider and wider!

A flash of brilliance suddenly crossed Sabito's eyes!

The opportunity had arrived!

This demon had already adapted to his current rhythm of evasion!

"Water Breathing - Ninth Form - Water Splash!"

In an instant, Sabito seemed to transform into a surging torrent!

Ignoring gravity, he stepped onto the Hand Demon's long arm, spinning and leaping back and forth while dodging the attacks of the Hand Demon's other arm.

Until Sabito followed the long arm and arrived right in front of the Hand Demon!

Carrying the force accumulated from dozens of rotations, the Nichirin Sword in his hand transformed into an azure water dragon, roaring as it slashed down onto the Hand Demon's neck!

The Hand Demon felt as if it were seeing Urokodaki.

Kujo Tachibana jumped down from the tree, clapping his hands while looking at Sabito with full appreciation, praising him:

"Your mastery of the Water Breathing forms is quite good; to think you could combine the ninth form with the tenth!"

"If you have time to refine it further, this could become a new Water Breathing form!"

Sabito just smiled slightly, then collapsed headfirst onto the ground...

Kujo Tachibana looked at the exhausted Sabito and the unconscious Giyu with a dumbfounded expression, unable to help but slap his forehead!

He had miscalculated! If he had known, he would have just done it himself; now he had to look after these two brats!
