"How could I possibly like someone like Dai Mubai!"
Zhu Zhuqing's voice rang out especially coldly in the empty room.
Zhu Zhuqing was proud by nature. She only liked the strong and admired those who dared to face hardships and press forward.
But what about Dai Mubai?
As a prince of the Star Luo Empire, when faced with competition from his elder brother, he hadn't tried to fight back by training harder. Instead, he'd chosen to run away.
He'd abandoned his fiancée and fled alone to the Heaven Dou Empire, hiding in this so-called Shrek Academy and drowning himself in wine and women.
He had a twin pair of beauties in his arms, looking every bit like a man who'd indulged himself to excess.
He didn't train at all and had no ambition.
Aside from his passable looks and Soul Power Level, what did he have?
"A man can be lecherous, but Dai Mubai only knows how to numb himself with women. He's nothing but a good-for-nothing."
Zhu Zhuqing's eyes were full of disdain.
Qin Feng was a little lecherous too, but he had the strength and the means to back it up.
His lust was the romantic indulgence of a strong man, while Dai Mubai's was the degradation of a weak one.
The two were simply incomparable.
"The diary says I'll fall for him? What a ridiculous joke."
Zhu Zhuqing closed the Diary coldly, a glint of resolve flashing in her eyes.
She would never let such an absurd "future" come to pass.
Now that she knew how things would end, she would start changing them right away.
She, Zhu Zhuqing, couldn't stand Dai Mubai.
The dormitory was still dimly lit, but the pen in Qin Feng's hand never stopped moving.
After finishing Zhu Zhuqing's entry, another figure naturally came to mind.
The little princess of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, Ning Rongrong.
Although Ning Rongrong, as a support-type Soul Master, hadn't been beaten as badly as the others at the Great Soul Arena today, her personality was a real problem for someone in Shrek Academy.
Qin Feng put pen to paper, and new words flowed across the page.
[Ning Rongrong's here too: a blue dress, elegant and refined, a peach-blossom face, graceful and poised, like a lotus rising above the dust!]
[Those jade-white legs were especially like slender, snowy lotus roots. Paired with white stockings, they made a man's fingers itch!]
Qin Feng recalled the scene on the platform. Ning Rongrong had stood at the back of the team, and her blue dress had certainly caught the eye—especially her long legs wrapped in white stockings, gleaming brilliantly under the lights.
Even back when he'd watched the anime, he'd thought Ning Rongrong's legs were worth admiring for a year. Now that he'd seen her in person, the visual impact was even more overwhelming.
His pen took a sharp turn, and a mischievous smile curled Qin Feng's lips.
[The only flaw in this otherwise perfect picture is that she's only an A-cup! She falls far short of Zhu Zhuqing!]
[And she's still a spoiled young lady. She needs some serious training!]
After writing this, Qin Feng contentedly closed the Diary, stretched, then turned and fell back onto his bed, soon fast asleep.
At the same time.
Ning Rongrong hummed an unfamiliar tune as she carried several shopping bags and cheerfully pushed open the dormitory door.
She'd just seen her father, Ning Fengzhi, off.
Though Shrek had lost badly today, her father hadn't seemed to care much about the academy's pride. Instead, he'd kept going on about Qin Feng.
"Rongrong, that Qin Feng is not only incredibly strong, but I think he's quite eloquent too."
"If you could spend more time with him, it would be good for the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect."
"A genius like that would be worthy of my daughter."
Ning Rongrong tossed her shopping bags onto a chair. Remembering her father's obvious attempts to play matchmaker, she couldn't help pouting.
"What's so great about that Qin Feng? He's just a little good at fighting."
"He hit so hard and didn't show the slightest tenderness toward women. He beat everyone up like that, and Dad still wants me to get close to him."
Still grumbling, Ning Rongrong slipped off her little leather shoes and threw herself onto the soft bed without a shred of decorum.
"Ow!"
The soft touch she'd expected didn't fully envelop her. Something hard had jabbed into the outside of her thigh.
Like a startled kitten, Ning Rongrong sprang up and clutched the sore spot, her brows knitting together.
"What is this? How could there be something hard on my bed?"
She felt around the sheets, and soon pulled out a black booklet.
It had a distinctive texture and felt cool to the touch, strangely out of place in the warm-colored room of a young girl.
Ning Rongrong curiously turned it over. By the light of the Soul Guidance Lamp, she made out the gilded words on the cover.
Qin Feng (Ning Rongrong's Personal Diary)
Ning Rongrong froze.
"Qin Feng?"
She blinked her bright, lively eyes, her face full of disbelief.
Was this the captain of the Heaven Dou Royal Team—the one who'd beaten them to within an inch of their lives at the Great Soul Arena?
The very same "ideal son-in-law" her father had been praising nonstop just moments ago?
"What a coincidence. Dad had just finished talking about him, and now this thing shows up on my bed?"
Ning Rongrong's eyes darted about, and a powerful curiosity suddenly welled up inside her.
"Could that guy have deliberately sent me a love letter to win me over?"
"Hmph. Let's see what tricks you're up to, big shot. What secrets are hiding in this Diary?"
Ning Rongrong sat cross-legged on the edge of the bed and opened the Diary with a hint of scrutiny.
The little face that had been so unconcerned a moment before flushed red as soon as she saw the words.
"Elegant and refined... a peach-blossom face..."
"Jade-white legs... lotus roots... made a man's fingers itch..."
Ning Rongrong instinctively looked down at her legs.
To make it easier to move during the competition, she'd worn white stockings today, which made her legs look even straighter and slimmer.
She hadn't expected that Qin Feng, so cold and merciless on the platform, with such brutal attacks, had been paying so much attention to her in secret.
"Pervert! Lecher!"
Ning Rongrong scolded him aloud, but she didn't feel all that angry. Instead, a little pride rose in her heart.
"At least you have good taste."
Among the Shrek Seven Devils, she was sure no one could match her looks and bearing. Even Xiao Wu couldn't compare with the refined air of a young lady like her.
It seemed that although Qin Feng hit hard, his taste was perfectly normal.
Ning Rongrong's lips curved up slightly, and her mood improved a little.
Since her father wanted to play matchmaker, and the man was an unparalleled genius, if he praised her properly in his Diary, she might even consider giving him a chance to pursue her.
But as her gaze continued downward, the small smile on her face froze.
Her fists clenched, and veins began throbbing on her forehead.
[The only flaw in this otherwise perfect picture is that she's only an A-cup! She falls far short of Zhu Zhuqing!]
Ning Rongrong's eyes widened as she glared at the words "an A-cup," as if she could bore a hole right through the page.
