Background / History
Tang San was a highly self-assured Shrek Academy student who considered himself unmatched among his peers due to his Innate Full Soul Power, Twin Martial Souls, Eight Spider Lances, and Tang Sect arts. He treated Yu Xiaogang as his teacher and followed his tactical instruction with respect 16.
His confidence collapsed after Qin Feng's martial soul suppressed his Blue Silver Grass and Qin Feng defeated him publicly. Tang San resorted to the Eight Spider Lances and secretly prepared his Clear Sky Hammer, but remained unable to overcome Qin Feng 22 24.
After the defeat, Tang San appealed to his father, Tang Hao, emphasizing Qin Feng's alleged cruelty and the value of Qin Feng's External Soul Bone. He supported Tang Hao's attempt to seize the bone, framing it as a righteous act against a future threat 27 46 51.
Tang San's relationship with Xiao Wu deteriorated as she publicly opposed killing Qin Feng for his soul bone and later spent increasing time with Qin Feng. Tang San repeatedly interpreted her actions as betrayal, fueling his jealousy and hatred 51 81 107.
Seeking revenge for Oscar and Dai Weisi, Tang San forged Yama's Invitation and ambushed Qin Feng with Tang Sect hidden weapons. Qin Feng destroyed the attack, strangled Tang San, and ultimately snapped his neck and crushed his internal organs 136 138.
Tang Chen later stole Tang San's corpse and sacrificed his life force and Asura God's inheritance to resurrect him. Reborn in the Hundred Thousand Mountains with no recovered Soul Power, Tang San survived through physical combat, absorbed the divine inheritance, and set out for Sea God Island to gain further strength for revenge 155 160.
Appearance
Following his resurrection and absorption of divine power, Tang San's appearance changes dramatically: his hair becomes half dark red and half azure, while his eyes reflect the conflicting powers within him 158 163.
- Left eye is blood-red, associated with the Asura God's power 158.
- Right eye is azure blue, associated with the Sea God's power 158.
- Carries a dark-red Asura Clear Sky Hammer marked by demonic patterns and a bloody aura 163.
- Uses blue-gold Blue Silver Emperor vines with sharp barbs and a deep-sea sheen 163.
- His regenerated body possesses strengthened meridians and bones, with physical durability far beyond his former state 158 161.
Personality
Tang San initially presents himself as calm, humble, analytical, and respectful toward Yu Xiaogang. Beneath that restraint, he possesses intense pride in his talent, Twin Martial Souls, and Tang Sect inheritance 16 17 24.
Repeated humiliation by Qin Feng leaves him increasingly jealous, vindictive, and unstable. He becomes willing to plan ambushes, use lethal hidden weapons, and accept Xiao Wu acting as bait if it might create an opening to kill Qin Feng 103 107 136.
After his resurrection, revenge becomes his overriding purpose. He rejects ideals of benevolence and love, openly declaring that he will accept any power capable of helping him kill his enemies 156 161.
