Tang Hao Got Married

"No!"

Tang Hao roared, pulled back his hand, and suddenly wrapped his fairy-like wife in his arms.

Then Ah Yin wove two rings out of Blue Silver Grass and slipped one onto her man's finger.

"Brother Hao, your turn."

Tang Hao eagerly slipped the Blue Silver Grass ring onto Ah Yin's finger, then promised, "Don't worry, Ah Yin. Next time, I'll give you a real ring—the best one in the world."

"I believe you, Brother Hao."

Their wedding was simple too.

On a night when the stars shone especially bright, they stood on a small hillside from which the Clear Sky Sect's gates could be seen in the distance.

With no officiant, Tang Hao and Ah Yin completed the wedding bows.

Tang Hao gazed at Ah Yin in her white wedding dress, beautiful and captivating, like a fairy from the heavens. His heart brimmed with joy.

Still, he put on a show of regret. "Ah Yin, I'm sorry you have to settle for this. It's just the two of us at our wedding."

Ah Yin shook her head. "It's all right. Having you is enough."

After they shared a cup of wine, it was time to retire to their wedding bed.

Tang Hao grinned cheekily. "Ah Yin, I'm a little nervous. I need to use the bathroom."

Ah Yin blushed. "You're awful. Are all men so impatient?"

Tang Hao laughed. "What can I say? I love you so much."

He'd long since forgotten that he'd been cast out of his sect and his family. His mind was filled with nothing but lewd thoughts.

Just as they were about to spend their wedding night, several unwelcome guests kicked open the little house where the newlyweds were about to retire and strode into view.

Tang Hao and Ah Yin both looked over. It was his Fifth Uncle, Tang Kun, along with several Clear Sky Sect disciples.

The moment Tang Hao saw Fifth Elder Tang Kun, the happiness drained from his face. Ah Yin, meanwhile, was terribly nervous.

"Fifth Uncle, Ah Yin is my wife now. Don't you dare talk about her like that!" Tang Hao's tall, broad frame shielded Ah Yin.

"Hao'er, this woman has blinded you all these years. You've now committed the crime of betraying humanity. But since you were led astray by this Soul Beast demon woman, your Fifth Uncle will give you one more chance," Tang Kun urged. When it came to his nephew, he was still willing to give him another chance.

"Just leave this woman, and we can put everything behind us. If you can't bring yourself to do it, we'll do it for you. Then you can return to the Clear Sky Sect, back to our family. The people of the world will no longer misunderstand you."

Tang Hao's heart ached. "Fifth Uncle, why are you making me choose? Can't you accept Ah Yin?"

Tang Kun looked at Tang Hao. "Why should we accept her? Don't you know what outsiders are saying about our Clear Sky Sect? They say we raised a traitor. They might as well say every Clear Sky Sect disciple was born of beasts!"

"I don't care. Even if I never return to the Clear Sky Sect, I still want Ah Yin. You all know that with my talent, I'll surpass Grandpa one day," Tang Hao said, standing his ground.

Tang Hao's talent was undeniable, but in Tang Kun's eyes, none of that mattered now. The Clear Sky Sect simply wasn't strong enough to face all the humans on the continent.

Tang Kun said, "The sect is still willing to give you a chance. Don't be so ungrateful."

The other disciples chimed in. "Brother Hao, don't be so stubborn. If you're willing to come back, you'll always be the idol we look up to."

"Brother Hao, don't worry about me. Go back to the Clear Sky Sect. You don't have to betray the sect for my sake. Meeting a man like you in this life has already made me completely content."

After saying this, Ah Yin stepped forward, wearing a calm expression as if she were ready to die.

"Elders, Clear Sky Sect brothers, do what you must."

Tang Kun immediately caught the thick, green-tea scent coming from Ah Yin. It was so pungent it soured his mood, and he flew into a rage. "You demon woman, still trying to drive a wedge between us? I'll kill you right now!"

As he spoke, he gathered his Soul Power, preparing to seize Ah Yin.

Tang Hao pulled Ah Yin behind him again. His ox-like eyes reddened, and he panted like a bull. "Fifth Uncle, Ah Yin isn't driving a wedge between us. She's thinking of all of us. She's such a kind, gentle girl—the kind you couldn't find in the whole world even if you searched by lantern light."
