The oasis lay several thousand meters ahead. In fact, if they had gone a little farther yesterday, they would have seen it. Unfortunately, by the time they had arrived here yesterday, it was already evening. Thinking themselves strong enough that there was no need to scout the surroundings, they had simply gone to sleep. Otherwise, they would probably have set up camp at the oasis right before them.
However, Azshara frowned as she looked at the oasis. "Everyone, be careful. When we came here before, the guide warned us never to enter this oasis..."
Gulman snorted. "Could there really be anything in this oasis capable of threatening us?"
That left Azshara speechless. After all, whether it was Li, Timaria, or Bar, who had just joined the group, which one of them was not a powerhouse in their own right? Even if there was danger in this oasis, could several monsters really suddenly leap out and easily wipe out their entire party?
Looking down from this height, they saw the oasis stretching through the desert, a vast expanse of green that even made Azshara somewhat excited. They had no idea how immense it truly was in the distance; at the very least, its farthest reaches already seemed to meet the sky. It really looked like an oasis on the scale of a city.
A massive pool occupied a third of the entire oasis. Its water was such a mesmerizing blue that, at a glance, there was no sign of any supposed danger. It radiated nothing but an ultimate sense of beauty. Beside it stood a towering mountain. It appeared quite high, and no one knew why they had failed to notice it while traveling. The rest of the oasis was mostly covered in abundant vegetation.
Just then, a patch of black
