The moment Jiraiya entered, he saw the scene before him. A flicker of astonishment crossed his face first, followed by what seemed like relief. Then his expression turned somewhat strange. "Mirai, you're alright."
Seeing Jiraiya's expression, Mirai knew the man had not come looking for trouble with him. "I'm fine. I just wasted some chakra. After all, putting those two in their place with a bit of flair was rather troublesome. But Sensei Jiraiya, when did you get back? You didn't even let me know so I could welcome you back."
Jiraiya sighed softly. "I heard as soon as I got back that this guy was headed your way, so I came to take a look. I didn't expect you to be so ruthless."
"Yes, I didn't expect things here to end up like this either." Tsunade's voice slowly rang out.
"Sensei Tsunade, it seems you arrived a little late! You didn't get to see what I just did." A malicious smile appeared at the corner of Mirai's mouth. One reason he had acted this way was because those two had been too reckless. The other was because he wanted to get back at Tsunade. Part of the reason those people had come here was to test Tsunade.
They wanted to test how she truly viewed the Uchiha clan. Yet they never expected Mirai to be so furious. Before Tsunade could get any answers, Mirai had already beaten them half to death.
Of course, Mirai understood what Tsunade was thinking as well. Tsunade herself was in a delicate position, so even though Mirai was her disciple, she would not immediately step in to settle things. She intended to wait until Bafeng Riyue went too far before appearing. That way, the council of elders would not think she was trying to
