Just as Li was lost in wild thoughts, there came another knock at his door. He froze for a moment. "Is that Riyue?"
"Yes, Young Master." Uchiha Riyue's voice sounded from outside. "A message has come from the main family. Third Elder wishes to see you."
Li answered and began getting dressed. That old fox, Third Elder, definitely had something in mind if he was summoning him.
When Li arrived at Third Elder's room, the elder got straight to the point. "Li, what do you think of the clan?"
"It's good," Li replied directly.
"Good?" Third Elder's eyes widened sharply. "If it's so good, why did you do something that betrayed the clan?"
"What do you mean?" Li paused, a trace of surprise flashing across his face.
Third Elder snorted. "Your expression is convincing enough, but do you think the clan truly knows nothing about your dealings with Hinata Hyuga and Hyuga Mao Yihua of the Hyuga clan? Indeed, no matter what kind of person you are, I can understand that you have thoughts of your own. But understanding does not mean I can approve! You have already crossed my bottom line. What do you think you can do now?"
Li looked at Third Elder for a long while before slowly letting out a sigh. "What can I do?"
Li slowly raised his head. In an instant, his eyes had transformed into the Mangekyo.
"Now that's a child of the Uchiha clan!" Third Elder shouted. He took two longswords from the table and handed one to Li. "Come, then. Let me see what you're truly capable of!"
There was an unwritten rule within the Uchiha clan: when one of lower standing wished to challenge one above them, there was only one choice—battle! They would fight using the method in which
