Aburame Fangxiu was very similar to Might Guy, except this guy did not lack talent for Ninjutsu—he... lacked the talent of the Aburame Clan. His body was unsuited to raising any kind of insect; all insects would cause tremendous harm to his body. It could be said that he was not a qualified member of the Aburame Clan at all.
But aside from that, he was a perfect ninja. Do not let his burly, powerful build fool you—his speed was equally astonishing. One glance was enough to tell that he was an expert in taijutsu.
But if anyone thought he only excelled at taijutsu, they would probably end up like the people he had slaughtered. Aside from taijutsu, he was also highly skilled in Fire Release, Earth Release, and Lightning Release. His Fire Release was said to rival Shinnosuke's Earth Release.
Beyond that, although he could not raise the Aburame Clan's insects within his body, he had developed another kind of chakra insect. These chakra insects constantly devoured the chakra in his body, but at critical moments, they could grant him tremendous explosive power. Moreover, his own chakra reserves were exceptionally abundant, far surpassing those of ordinary Jonin.
Even more chilling was his temperament. During one mission, he hid underwater for a full hour, watching his teammates get surrounded and killed by the enemy with his own eyes. Yet he did not waver in the slightest and persisted in completing the intelligence mission.
Then, on the very day he became a Jonin seven years later, he left Konoha alone. Three days afterward, he personally returned with the heads of three Jonin and seven Chunin. Those ten people were the culprits who had ambushed his squad and wiped them out years ago.
