Li coughed softly. "I have a companion whose master has been afflicted by a petrification curse. Only the eyes of a Blood Ring Snake can save her. I need your help. After all, you've been here for so long—you must know where to find one, right?" Li said slowly.
"Why should I help you?" Chi Mei's voice was utterly calm. "As far as I know, you humans have something called a transaction. Whatever you want done comes at a price, doesn't it?"
Li smiled. Since she could see his memories, she should have known he was someone she absolutely could not afford to provoke. Yet she still said something like that. Women...
"Fine. I won't ask what you want, but I promise you this: if anything happens to Pluton, I will definitely intervene." As soon as Li said this, Chi Mei nodded. This girl had a little cunning, but she was still far too green. She knew to make demands, yet apparently had no intention of bargaining at all.
Now that Li and Chi Mei had reached a deal, there was no longer any point in testing Itachi and the other two. Before long, all three of them appeared in the main hall.
