The Final Road to Transcendence

"Time Dao."

Heavenless Honored One stared at the Time Lineage Great Dao Wonder floating in the air and murmured to himself. The light of time reflected in his eyes. In a haze, he raised his right hand and casually flicked two fingers. A strand of Years Power flowed from his fingertips, winding and tangling, but it soon showed signs of instability before bursting apart with a bang.

That instantly brought Heavenless Honored One back to his senses.

He turned to look back and saw Beast God Honored One, Remaining Sun Honored One, and the others all attempting to deduce the Years Path with thoughtful expressions. Each made some attempt, but all merely skimmed the surface before stopping.

He then looked toward Chen Mu and saw that Chen Mu was likewise immersed in contemplation. Faint time-light flowed around him, interweaving with the Time Dao Wonder before him. In the haze, it seemed to stir a trace of Years Path power, but it quickly drew back in.

"Chen Honored One seems to have gained quite a bit."

Heavenless Honored One smiled at Chen Mu.

Chen Mu came back to himself at that moment, and the time-light spilling from his body quietly faded. He replied calmly, "I did gain a little. The Years Path is extraordinarily profound and unfathomable, impossible to fully fathom."

Remaining Sun Honored One took over from the side and sighed. "I too gained a slight insight, but the Years Path truly is obscure and difficult to understand. To thoroughly comprehend the complete Years Path remains a distant prospect. The Void Dao is still more practical and easier to reach."
