Completion Remarks (Free)

This was probably a belated completion note. After finishing yesterday, I invited some friends out and indulged in a feast and drinks.

This book began serialization on October 17, 2023, and concluded on April 6, 2025. It ran for a total of one year and over six months, more than five hundred days in all, without missing a single update, reaching exactly three million words.

The average daily word count was under six thousand, which was indeed rather low. But the later plot was truly beyond my ability to control and handle; writing every chapter was an ordeal.

Even so, I still persisted for a full year and a half without missing an update. Even when I caught a cold and fever, ran a high fever of 39.5 degrees, or was hospitalized on an IV drip, I wrote on my phone from the hospital bed. Perhaps the number of words updated in the later stages dropped considerably, but I kept at it every day and ultimately ensured a complete ending without any breaks. It could be considered an answer to my previous books.

When I wrote books before, all sorts of things had always caused me to miss updates, and I had even stopped updating for long periods. But this one was written straight through in one breath.

After finishing it, I actually had many things I wanted to say, yet I did not know exactly what to say. As far as this book was concerned, I was fairly satisfied with the first half, but deeply dissatisfied with the second half.
