Background / History

Jiang Lin is an orphan from Emperor Soul Village near Nuoding City. After Su Yuntao awakened his Blood Fiend Divine Thunder Halberd with Innate Full Soul Power, Jiang Lin was invited to join Martial Soul Hall, but avoided doing so because he did not wish to encounter Bibi Dong before he could protect himself. His system awakened at the same time, allowing him to use a limited-time purchase card to obtain a Title Douluo summoning card and summon Chen Xuan. 2

Rather than immediately seek a soul ring, Jiang Lin strengthened his body by consuming increasingly high-aged Whale Shark meat. The regimen gave him physical fitness comparable to a high-level Soul King, though he considered his mental power a weakness. 2 By age ten, he had reached level 33 after absorbing a 9,300-year Blood-Armored Berserk Bear as his third ring. 1

He later seized resources connected to Tang San's future opportunities: Xiao Wu was captured by Chen Xuan, Ah Yin was sold to the system, and the Hundred Thousand Year Blue Silver Emperor Right Leg Bone was recycled for points. At the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, Jiang Lin subdued Dugu Bo by exposing the poison embedded in his body and offering treatment in exchange for loyalty.
