Wang Xiaofei led Blazing Academy to victory, gained power through the City of Slaughter, and returned to explore the Undying Volcano with Huo Wu and Huo Wushuang. The trio uncovered the ruins of the Divine Fire Sect and learned of a flame intended to help its descendants reach rank 100.

• Wang Xiaofei helped Blazing Academy win the Continental Advanced Soul Master Academy Elite Tournament, then received the Skull of Wisdom for Spirit Condensation and helped Huo Wu and Huo Wushuang gain strength through Immortal Herbs and Soul Rings.
• Wang Xiaofei traveled with Huo Wu and Huo Wushuang to Holy Soul Village, stayed with the dying Old Jack, and later trained with them by fighting bandits and assassins without using Soul Skills.
• Wang Xiaofei entered the City of Slaughter, won one hundred Hell Slaughter Arena matches, rejected the King of Slaughter’s offer, and completed the Road to Hell to gain Divine Slaughter's Domain.

Xiaofei helped establish Elemental Academy, strengthened its young fighters with rare herbs, and prepared a group to seek training on Sea God Island. The seven reached the island and qualified to undergo Sea God’s trial.

• Xiaofei and the academy’s leaders brought the Blazing, Godwind, and Skywater Academies together, then invited the Defense and Breaking Clans to join as independent departments.
• At Elemental Academy’s founding ceremony, Xiaofei refused political alliances with Shrek, the Heaven Dou Empire, and other factions, while Hu Liena challenged him and learned he was already a Soul Saint.
• Yang Wudi pushed Xiaofei to fight without holding back, and their three-hour battle made Xiaofei recognize how often he had relied on shortcuts instead of facing real danger.
• Xiaofei distributed rare herbs to his companions and the deans, helping Shui Bing’er, Yang Pojun, Niu Meng, and Feng Xiaotian strengthen or evolve their Martial Souls.

The arc ended with the Elemental Academy refusing Yu Xiaogang’s request to ally with the Heaven Dou Empire, as Xiaofei considered pursuing powerful Soul Beasts for his next breakthrough.

• Huo Wushuang, Huo Wu, Xiaofei, and Shui Bing'er received their Sea God trials, and Bo Saixi welcomed the Shui Clan back to Sea God Island.
• Xiaofei led the group through the Sea God’s Light Stairway, where they trained for months and completed their first trials.
• Xiaofei absorbed a God-Bestowed Soul Ring, gained the Phoenix Domain, and led his companions through the Ring Sea despite Xiaobai’s attacks.

• Xiaofei considered pursuing Daming, Erming, and the Thousand Jin Ant Emperors, while the academy’s deans refused Yu Xiaogang’s request to join the Heaven Dou Empire against Spirit Hall.
