Background / History
Amphoreus is preserved within the Worldbearing Coreflame/Coreflame carried by Bai Yuan. When the Fire Seed first manifests, Bai Yuan recognizes it from the “Omphalos storyline,” while later descriptions identify it as the vessel of the Amphoreus Coreflame 2 28.
A Coreflame vision shows Amphoreus before its fall through the peaceful village of Aedes Elysiae, where the child Phainon lived. The vision then shifts to the village's destruction by a dark force, with its inhabitants transformed into monsters 29.
The world underwent repeated reincarnation cycles. Xiao Bai/Phainon recounts that he took on all Coreflame during the second cycle, resulting in his friends' deaths and the mission's failure 47. Bai Yuan later witnesses records of 134 prior cycles, including one in which Xiao Bai explains that their world is a script he must reset 86.
When Tribios emerges on Douluo Continent, she asks whether Amphoreus was saved. Bai Yuan's inability to answer confirms the outcome she had already feared: it was not 184.
