Martial Soul Academy was created when Shen Zhou used an Academy Construction Card on wasteland east of the White Tiger Duke Mansion. Its establishment was tied to his plan to rebuild the legacy of Martial Soul Hall and provide an academy for commoners. 8

Its stated educational model offers commoners free martial soul awakenings, cultivation instruction, and—where students demonstrate sufficient ability—rewards including soul rings, soul bones, and Soul Tools. Shen Zhou later identifies fairness in martial soul awakening for commoners as the academy's central purpose. 7 61
