Long Hengxu and Yu Zhen moved quickly too, arranging all the necessary paperwork for Su Chen.
Most of it had already been prepared. Su Chen only needed to go through the motions; two minutes to take a student ID photo, and he was done.
Yu Zhen had other matters to attend to, so Long Hengxu took Su Chen to his private dormitory.
"Student Su Chen, the academy is different from the outside world. If you run into any trouble here, you can come to me. Fighting on campus violates the school rules, so you need to be careful..."
As he led the way, Long Hengxu explained the rules to Su Chen.
Although Su Chen had special privileges that exempted him from punishment, they could easily make other students resent him. Getting into fights whenever he pleased was still a bad idea. Wu Zhangkong was a perfect example...
"Don't worry, Director Long. I'm not the sort of person who likes causing trouble." Su Chen smiled, humble and unassuming.
Long Hengxu breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he remembered something and continued, "By the way, we've assigned you to Class One. Your homeroom teacher is Wu Zhangkong, the strongest person in the academy. He also comes from the legendary Shrek Academy. I know you're proud, but it's best not to get into a conflict with him..."
Wu Zhangkong even dared to hit the principal.
Long Hengxu was a little worried that Su Chen would clash with Wu Zhangkong and end up on the losing side.
Wu Zhangkong was alone, terrifyingly strong, and didn't go easy on anyone. Su Chen's background wouldn't be much use against him. At most, it might keep him from hitting too hard.
Su Chen's talent was impressive, but he hadn't grown into his strength yet. Even with a Mecha, he still wouldn't stand a chance.
"Oh, so Director Long and the principal both got beaten up by Wu Zhangkong." Hearing that, Su Chen finally understood. That explained the injuries on their faces.
"What do you mean, beaten up? We were just sparring. You know what sparring is, don't you? Even experts get hurt when they spar."
Long Hengxu got flustered and hurriedly made excuses.
"Oh, right, right. I get it. Don't worry, Director Long. We're buddies. I won't tell anyone Wu Zhangkong beat you up." Su Chen looked completely serious.
"You little..."
Long Hengxu's mouth twitched. In the end, there was nothing he could do about Su Chen.
Before long, Long Hengxu brought Su Chen to his new residence.
It was next to the boys' dormitory: a villa all to himself.
That was right, a villa—and one built especially for Su Chen. It was extravagantly luxurious.
Su Chen's future was limitless. At the very least, he was destined to become a Titled Douluo and wear Three-Word Battle Armor. He might even become a Four-Word Battle Armor Master. That would be a tremendous honor for the academy.
This investment was nothing to the academy.
"All right, settle in and make yourself at home. Of course, you can live off campus if you prefer. Classes start tomorrow. You're in Class One, first year. Don't let the academy down."
Long Hengxu gave Su Chen a light pat on the shoulder, said a few parting words, then turned to leave.
Su Chen entered the villa and sent messages to Mu Xi and Ouyang Zixin.
A short while later,
two cries of astonishment rang out.
"Wow, a villa!"
"What kind of treatment is this? This is way too nice!"
Ouyang Zixin and Mu Xi looked around Su Chen's dormitory, their eyes filled with envy.
Ouyang Zixin and Mu Xi looked around Su Chen's dormitory, their eyes filled with envy.
Their dorm rooms were private, but each had only one room, along with a small private bathroom.
Mu Xi rented a place off campus too, but it wasn't nearly this luxurious. The area around the academy was expensive, and though Mu Chen doted on her, he wouldn't waste money on such an extravagant home.
Even the academy's teachers didn't get accommodations like Su Chen's. The principal probably didn't live anywhere this nice...
The spacious living room alone, with its enormous floor-to-ceiling window, was enough to leave them amazed.
"Senior Sister, Senior Ouyang, you're here~"
Su Chen walked out of the inner room, a bright smile on his face.
His gaze naturally swept over the two girls standing in the doorway.
Several years had passed, and they had both grown up, shedding much of their youthful awkwardness. Their figures had become more graceful and lovely.
They were both wearing Eastsea Academy's standard fifth-year uniforms.
Mu Xi still had her signature golden hair, now tied into a high ponytail that made her look sharp and spirited.
Her uniform top was a fitted, light-blue short-sleeved shirt, with a dark-blue bow at the collar. It accentuated the curves of her increasingly mature figure.
Below it, she wore the academy's standard dark-blue skort, which ended just above the knees—neat and practical, yet proper.
Her long, straight legs were on full display beneath the skort, her skin pale and luminous.
Standing there with her chin slightly raised and her usual hint of haughtiness, she gave off a bold, spirited air.
Beside her, Ouyang Zixin had smooth blue hair, also tied into a neat high ponytail.
Her uniform seemed more fitted than Mu Xi's, outlining her fuller figure more clearly, while her waist was just as slender.
Her dark-blue skort was the same length as Mu Xi's, but it emphasized her strikingly long, fair legs.
Her legs weren't only long; they were perfectly proportioned, with smooth, firm lines and the springy energy of an athletic girl. She radiated sunshine.
"The academy's so biased. Honestly, my talent isn't bad either. Why don't I get treatment like this?" Mu Xi pouted and muttered under her breath.
"Haha."
Su Chen laughed. "The villa's so big, I don't think I'll get used to living here alone. Senior Mu Xi, you two can stay here with me whenever you like~"
"Pah, you shameless junior. Who wants to live with you?"
Mu Xi gave him a coy little scold, her cheeks faintly reddening.
Su Chen often dragged her into bed with him, and he was never well-behaved...
"All right, all right. Then we'll come by often~"
Ouyang Zixin covered her mouth with a soft laugh, her eyes curving into crescents. Her gaze was full of warmth as she looked at Su Chen.
"I just got here. Show me around the academy, will you? We can have lunch together while we're at it~"
Su Chen made the suggestion.
Of course, he simply wanted to go out on a date with Mu Xi and Ouyang Zixin.
"Fine, fine. But you'd better hurry up and make my Mecha. It's been months already." Mu Xi moved closer to Su Chen, gave him a gentle pinch, and urged him in a low voice.
Su Chen already had a Mecha—and two of them, at that: one at the Yellow level and another Black-Grade Mecha under construction. He'd even gotten her father to work for free...
She wanted a Mecha of her own too, but her strength wasn't enough. Her father wouldn't let her waste her allowance on one, much less spend the time and effort building her such a toy. All she could do was ask Su Chen to make one for her.
"Senior Sister, I just finished your Battle Armor. Give me a few months to rest, okay?" Su Chen feigned helplessness.
Su Chen had made Mu Xi a One-Word Battle Armor, but with only two rings, her cultivation wasn't high enough to unleash its full power.
Su Chen had also made Ouyang Zixin a set of One-Word Battle Armor, and she was in much the same situation.
Battle Armor had no energy-storage core like a Mecha. It had to be powered by Soul Power.
If a Soul Master didn't have enough Soul Power, they couldn't unleash the Battle Armor's full might. It was like having a dog ride Lu Bu.
Su Chen had made himself a set of Two-Word Battle Armor. It was crafted entirely from Fusion-Forged alloy with a fusion rate above ninety-nine percent—a material also known as "God Alloy," worth a fortune by the gram.
Even with his astonishing talent, making the Two-Word Battle Armor had taken a great deal out of him.
