The Sea God gave Tang San his first Divine Trial: find the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, the Heart of the Sea God, and warned him that he needed to recover his Fortune to survive. Tang San learned that Tang Zhan and others knew about the Shroud, but the chapter left its whereabouts unknown.

• The Sea God began Tang San’s first trial, requiring him to find the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud, and gave him a mark that would glow near it.
• The Sea God told Tang San to leave Slaughter City, complete the trial, and seek Qian Renxue and a hundred-thousand-year Soul Beast to plunder their Fortune.

Tang San learned that the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud was tied to the Sea God’s trial and believed he could retrieve it after escaping Slaughter City. He told Tang Zhan that another god required him to kill Yu Xiaogang, and Tang Zhan agreed to help arrange the murder.

• Tang Zhan told Tang San that the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud was the Heaven Dou Imperial Family’s national treasure, and Tang San concluded it would help him complete his first Sea God trial.
