Baine the Guide
Upon returning to Thunder Bluff from Brackenwall Village, Baine Bloodhoof received an appointment from his father, Cairne Bloodhoof, in Orgrimmar to become the Horde's representative among the Guides. ♙💣 ♦🐟
"Father, am I capable of fulfilling the Warchief's request?" Baine Bloodhoof asked his father, Cairne Bloodhoof, expressing his doubts after understanding what the Guides was required to do, wondering if he was capable of taking on the role.
"Baine Bloodhoof, my son, you must understand that no one is born omniscient and omnipotent. Everything requires learning. To doubt yourself without having tried it is cowardice," Cairne Bloodhoof said earnestly to his son, then continued after his face turned serious.
"You must work hard to complete this task. If you don't do well, I will have the Warchief rescind this appointment and then bring you back to inherit my position." Old Niu had always been worried that his son was too young, and this appointment as Warchief was an excellent opportunity for him to gain experience. So he gave his son a threat to make him work even harder.
"Father, I will certainly live up to the Warchief's expectations and bring glory to Earth Mother!" Baine Bloodhoof listened to his father's words and expressed his attitude as he wished. He would definitely complete the Warchief's task well, or he would have to come back to take over Thunder Bluff and become the chieftain of the Tauren United Clan.
"Hmm." Cairne Bloodhoof vaguely sensed that he had said something wrong, but he couldn't quite recall it at the moment. When he saw his son's agreement, he didn't think too much about it and nodded in satisfaction.
"Then, Father, I'll head to Orgrimmar first." Baine Bloodhoof hadn't thought that far ahead; thinking of his appointment as Warchief, he couldn't help but feel a little anxious, as he was about to Consecration to the Horde.
"Go!" Cairne Bloodhoof looked at his ambitious son with satisfaction, and couldn't help but feel a sense of emotion. Young Baine Bloodhoof, strive to gain glory; it is the calling Earth Mother has given you.
Under his father's watchful eye, Baine Bloodhoof traveled to Orgrimmar with his friend Gamon, telling Gamon about what had happened along the way.
Gamon was quite intrigued by the news and immediately pressed Baine Bloodhoof for details about the Guides.
"Wow, I wish I could go too." Gamon seemed a little envious after learning about the Guides.
"Then you can come with me!" Baine Bloodhoof said involuntarily as he listened to Gamon's words.
"But Ms. Zul'ra might not allow it." Gamon scratched his head. Logically speaking, there shouldn't be only one Guides, but would the teacher allow him to go?
"I can help you put in a good word!" Baine Bloodhoof's blue eyes lit up. It wasn't safe for him to be the Guides alone; wouldn't it be better to have a partner?
"Alright." Gamon's heart instantly stirred with excitement. With Baine Bloodhoof speaking on his behalf, perhaps the teacher would allow him to become Guides.
Filled with hope, Gamon and Baine Bloodhoof rushed to Orgrimmar, only to find that the Warchief was no longer Orgrimmar, and the order had been issued by Zul'ra.
Although the Warchief was absent, Zul'ra was in charge, and Gamon and Baine Bloodhoof recounted what had happened in Brackenwall Village.
"They ran away?" Zul'ra was satisfied to hear that the chaos involving the Stonemaul Ogres had ended, but the escaped Grotash made him glance at him, looking at the tall Baine Bloodhoof and Gamon beside him.
"Yes, we haven't found any trace of that Warlock. He's vanished somewhere in a despicable way, but I don't think he can cause any more trouble!" Baine Bloodhoof spread his hands, appearing quite frank.
"Why?" Zul'ra looked at the calf, who seemed completely at ease, and couldn't help but ask with a smile.
"Because after this incident, King Mok'Morokk will definitely tighten his control over Stonehammer. Unless Grotash can find another opportunity to defeat him, he will not be able to cause any more trouble." Baine Bloodhoof nodded naturally. Mok'Morokk took all the Ogres away from Stonemaul Valley not only to avoid the Black Dragonflight, but also to strengthen his control.
"Hmm." Zul'ra slightly raised her gaze to look at Baine Bloodhoof, letting out a long sound that neither praised nor refuted, leaving a somewhat meaningful impression.
"So, Zul'ra Jin, when should I fulfill my duties? And as the Horde's representative among the Guides, am I the only one representing the Horde?" Baine Bloodhoof looked down at the towering Trolls's condescending gaze, lowered his eyes slightly, but still raised his head to ask the question.
"Soon, you certainly won't be alone. As for your subordinates, you'll be responsible for recruiting them yourself in Orgrimmar. If you'd like, you could ask your father for some Shu'halo Warrior." Zul'ra lowered her gaze, a teasing look on her face. This precious son of Cairne Bloodhoof certainly had quite the air about him.
"Then may I request the first companion I need from you?" Baine Bloodhoof immediately interjected, glancing at Gamon beside him.
"Gamon?" Zul'ra caught the calf's gaze and looked at the disciple beside him.
"Yes, do you allow it?" Baine Bloodhoof nodded quickly, asking with a look of surprise.
"I won't allow it, and it won't work." Zul'ra's first sentence made Gamon and Baine Bloodhoof's faces fall, but then she surprised them so much that they couldn't recover. However, Zul'ra's next words made them overjoyed.
"I've already said, you're in charge of recruiting members. Recruiting is up to the individuals involved; if you can't recruit anyone, you'll have to figure something out!"
"I'm willing to accept Baine Bloodhoof's offer of recruitment, thank you, teacher." Gamon hurriedly expressed his acceptance of Baine Bloodhoof's offer of recruitment and thanked Zul'ra at the same time.
"Why thank me? It's your own decision. But you'll have to stay with me for the next few days. I need to teach you some things." Zul'ra put on a stern face, adopting the demeanor of a strict teacher, and made demands of her apprentice.
"Yes." Gamon nodded with a grin, and Baine Bloodhoof, standing beside him, nudged him with his elbow in delight.
"Also, Baine Bloodhoof, son of Cairne Bloodhoof, I have something to say to you as well," Zul'ra said, watching Baine Bloodhoof wink at Gamon.
"You said." Upon hearing Zul'ra's words, Baine Bloodhoof immediately straightened his posture.
"I'm the one who recommended you to be the Guides this time, and you probably already know what your task is!" Zul'ra's expression was serious.
"Yes." Baine Bloodhoof was somewhat surprised by Zul'ra's words, but then quickly nodded in response, indicating that he knew his responsibility as Guides.
"I'm giving you a lot of freedom to recruit your own people, but you must also understand the responsibilities of a Guides. This concerns the future relationship between the Horde and Theramore, and even the entire Alliance. If you do well, great; if you don't, you need to be clear about the consequences."
"Alright, that's all. You can go now!" Zul'ra's words were brief and to the point. The sudden interruption left Baine Bloodhoof, who had been listening, stunned, but he couldn't say anything else and could only leave.
