If
"Trag" Zul'ra gazed at Trag's profile in the dim candlelight and couldn't help but call out.
"Hmm?" Trag turned to look at the Trolls.
"How long do you plan to stay here?" Zul'ra took a sip of his drink. He felt a considerable distance between himself and this Tauren. He used to think that his fate was very difficult, but now it seemed that he was a very lucky person. Who else could experience the transformation from a human to Trolls like him?
Why ask this question?
"Because it's not safe here, you, and these people..." Zul'ra turned to look at the old and young people in the manor; it wasn't safe for them to stay in this manor.
"Where would it be safe?" Trag asked rhetorically.
"To the southeast, there is a Durnholde Keep, a human settlement, which should be safe!" Zul'ra meant well; the manor was very remote.
"What can they do there to ensure their survival?" Trag couldn't help but ask. Those remaining in the manor were mostly elderly and children in dire straits; those who could leave had already done so.
"There's always a way. I can help," Zul'ra said, looking at the silent people in the manor.
"..." Trag fell silent for a moment before speaking.
"Thank you. If you can, please take them away from here!"
"And what about you?" Zul'ra, somewhat surprised. Was this tone implying that he wasn't leaving?
"When I was coveted and driven away by countless humans, only Valima accepted me. He shared his food and wine with me and welcomed me to stay in his hometown. We hunted together and shared what we saw and heard... I cannot abandon him," Trag said heavily.
"He broke free from the Lich King's control, right?" Zul'ra stroked her chin.
"Yes, that's obvious." Trag nodded. Although he was out of touch with the news, he knew about the Lich King. He had heard it from Valima: there was a Lich King in the northern continent who connected with all the Undead. When the undead regained consciousness and were no longer puppets, it was a sign that Undead had broken free from the control of the Lich King in the north.
"Have you ever heard of the Forsaken?" Zul'ra suddenly remembered that Valima had regained consciousness; was he one of the Forsaken?
"The Forsaken, what are those?" Trag, somewhat bewildered.
"An Undead organization that has broken away from the Lich King's control." Zul'ra blinked. Valima didn't seem to Forsaken, so why not let him join Forsaken?
From Trag, we can tell that the Undead Valima are a cause for concern, which is understandable, as all the Forsaken are like that. But sticking together for warmth and bringing those with similar experiences together should make them more comfortable and ease the chill of this world.
"There's such an organization?" Trag was a little surprised. He had been staying here for the past two years and had no contact with the outside world. He had never heard of the Forsaken.
"Yes, I think that Valima might find some solace in that organization by encountering others who have had similar experiences," Zul'ra nodded.
"Why do you know so much about the Forsaken?" Trag looked at the Trolls; this guy seemed to know a lot.
"Because the Forsaken have also joined the Horde!" Zul'ra scratched her slightly itchy pointed ears.
"..." Trag's expression was one of disbelief. How could the Horde accept the Undead, Forsaken?
"Cough, you can accept Valima, so why can't you accept the Forsaken?" Zul'ra looked at Trag, who couldn't accept it, somewhat unexpectedly. This guy seemed to have double standards, and his thinking was completely different from old cows like Hamuul Runetotem and Cairne Bloodhoof.
"Yes! Why can I accept Valima, but the Horde can't accept the Forsaken? Perhaps, if Valima goes to be with them, things will get better!" Trag pondered for a moment, agreeing with Zul'ra's words, but he had doubts about Valima's potential improvement. He paused slightly before speaking.
"But what if they gather together and things don't improve at all, but instead get worse?"
"Well, that might depend on what we do." Zul'ra lowered her eyes. This question really hit the nail on the head. The Forsaken might find solace in each other if they gathered together, but if their resentment accumulated and amplified, turning into Undead like the Scourge, that would be a real problem.
"What method?" Trag asked urgently, as this was a very serious question.
"Hamuul Runetotem, Cairne Bloodhoof, and many other elders like Magatha Grimtotem believe that the Forsaken can be redeemed, or even transformed back into humans." Zul'ra blinked. He naturally knew the seriousness of the problem, but the solution wasn't actually hard to find; it was just difficult, or impossible, to implement.
"This..." Trag's slightly open mouth was hard to close; this was far too hasty!
"Well, so it's up to us. There's always a way, as long as we're willing to try." Zul'ra coughed slightly. He hadn't said a word about the Horde accepting the Forsaken, and he regretted it now, but if he could go back in time, he probably still wouldn't have been able to say anything.
"I am worried about the future of the Horde." Trag gritted his teeth. He couldn't bring himself to object to the Horde accepting the Forsaken, after all, his friend Valima had become Undead, but because of this, he was well aware of the Forsaken's situation.
"Perhaps it's like you said, there's always hope." Trag raised his head. No matter what, he had to help Valima. The Horde had accepted the Forsaken, and they would surely find a way, which was to his advantage.
"Yes!" Zul'ra would definitely nod in agreement.
"Where are those Forsaken? Perhaps I can take Valima with me and go there," Trag asked Zul'ra after a moment's thought. In any case, he needed to be optimistic and give it a try.
"Undercity, which is also the former Lordaeron City." Zul'ra announced the Forsaken's current capital city.
"They actually occupied that place." Trag was even more surprised. Although he hadn't left Modis Manor, he had heard about the situation in the north, and it wasn't looking good.
Currently, Tirisfal Glades and the vast area north of Tirisfal Glades and south of the Thalas Mountains are Plague Quarter overrun by Undead, and many increasingly Forsaken Lordaeron have occupied Lordaeron City. The Lordaeron will certainly not let this go easily, and a great war is inevitable.
"I've finished my drink. Let's get some rest tonight!" Zul'ra downed the ale in her glass, not wanting to talk to Trag any further. Tonight's conversation seemed a bit out of line and unnecessary. Trag was just an ordinary Tauren, albeit with some not-so-annoying cunning.
