After confirming that Zul'ra truly only had three conditions and wouldn't make excessive demands regarding territory, Lor'themar still didn't immediately agree. Instead, he convened a meeting with the Quel'Thalas leadership for discussion, which is perfectly normal. ♡👽 🍬🍬

Although Lor'themar was the regent of Quel'Thalas, his prestige was not universally recognized; Quel'Thalas was merely appointed by Kael'thas. The monarchy itself was already teetering on the brink of collapse, with the Parliamentarian party almost entirely wiped out.

If it weren't for the fact that the Sin'dorei population could no longer withstand the drain of regime change and that the Sin'dorei desperately needed a leader, the Phoenix Dynasty would have already fallen apart.

Lor'themar served as regent diligently. Even if he could make decisions on his own, he wouldn't dare to agree rashly, lest something happen in Quel'Thalas and the truth come out, making him a traitorous Elves.

Zul'ra understood Lor'themar's predicament, so his request was not unreasonable, and he let Lor'themar and the others talk on their own, while he himself went to Farstrider Square, eager to see the Naaru.

The Farstrider Square, once teeming with countless Undead, has been cleared away. Two enormous buildings have been erected there: the Ranger's Hut and the Blood Hall. The remaining space is filled with mannequins and a foundry.

The Ranger's Hut is the residence of the Quel'Thalas rangers and hunters, with most of the soldiers currently outside. The Blood Hall, on the other hand, is the residence of the Blood Knights and also serves as the training ground for the Sin'dorei Blood Knights. The two buildings are quite a distance apart in the plaza barracks.

Led by Liadrin, Zul'ra entered the golden-red Blood Hall and, first under the guidance of officers Ellenjon Sunblade and Irisa Bloodstar, got a general feel for the Blood Knights.

Quel'Thalas adopted a quasi-noble ranking system to win over the emerging military force of the Blood Knights. This system was unique, unlike the human world where knights were trained by the church and their ranks were determined by their birth and background. The knights also had their own internal organization, making the system quite complex.

The Blood Knights are divided into five ranks, from top to bottom: Earl, Lord, Blood Commander, Blood Lord, and Blood Warrior. Currently, Liadrin is the only Countess, and all Blood Knights are under her command.

While watching the Blood Knights, Zul'ra also learned about the Sin'dorei Paladin ' use of the Light. In addition to the amplification of their physique and attack power by the Light, as well as various functional seals, they could also distort light to become invisible. This was a spell derived from manipulating the Light in Arcane way.

"This invisibility technique is actually used by our Priest. The method of manipulating the Light with Arcane has been practiced among our people for a long time, but it has not been widely adopted or used with force..."

Liadrin explained the Light Invisibility spell to Zul'ra with a hesitant yet earnest tone. This kind of spell had long been used by Priest, but people did not reject Priest, but they viewed Blood Knights differently.

"Take me to see the Naaru!" Zul'ra didn't comment on the Blood Knights's skills. In reality, the Sin'dorei Blood Knights had more skills than the Sunbearers. After all, they had millions of years of Arcane experience and a large number of Priest and direct Paladin as their foundation, while he only came from a book. The only advantage of his Sunbearers was that they didn't need to be charged.

Yes, that's right. After observing for a while, Zul'ra clearly saw that after the Blood Knights released their skills a few rounds, the skills they released became weaker. The Light on their bodies was absorbed from the Naaru. In other words, if the Naaru's supply of the Light was stopped, the Blood Knights would no longer be able to emit light.

"Please follow me." Liadrin waved to the two officers accompanying her, then led Zul'ra around the training ground and to the entrance of an underground staircase.

"You locked him up in the basement!" Zul'ra followed Liadrin down the steps, slightly surprised, looking at the constantly changing light and shadow in the dim basement.

"Yes." Liadrin looked somewhat guilty as she led Zul'ra down the stairs and through a curved corridor to a basement.

As they ventured deeper into the basement, Zul'ra felt the light gradually brighten. In the dimly lit basement, atop a series of stacked circular platforms, sat a creature over seven meters tall.

Its body was not human-shaped; instead, it resembled runes in the shape of a totem mask, floating in the air like a butterfly specimen with outstretched wings. The parts that made up its body were individual purple crystals of different shapes that emitted a bright light.

Some of the purple crystals resembled tentacles, others wings, with sharp, protruding points. Some were shaped like wing edges, with wavy patterns inside and even glowing eyes. These crystals of various shapes were constantly rotating on their own or around a central cone-shaped crystal, like rotating colored lights.

Zul'ra circled around the Naaru, which resembled a rotating colored light. Floating on the circular platform, the cone-shaped crystal at the core of its body emitted beams of red magical light that connected to the basement platforms surrounding it. Seeing this, Zul'ra couldn't help but look towards Liadrin.

"We trapped him with a magical field." Liadrin felt somewhat guilty. This Naaru seemed to be a living being, and the fact that they were drawing the Light from him felt like binding a living person and draining their blood, which was inhumane.

"Can I get a little closer to him?" Zul'ra looked at the guilty Liadrin and asked without blaming her.

"Okay, but you'd better not do any experiments. If you put yourself in danger, we'll be in big trouble..." Liadrin said hesitantly.

"I understand, I just want to try and communicate with him." Zul'ra shook her head.

"Communicate? How do you want to communicate with him?" Liadrin was somewhat surprised, but then her delicate eyebrows furrowed slightly. The Sin'dorei felt that the Naaru was alive, but only in a sense, because as it stood, this Naaru seemed more like a machine than a living being. Apart from the cracking sounds they heard when absorbing the Light, they had never heard this thing utter any language-like sounds.

"With your heart." Zul'ra said something very profound, and it really was profound. The Light, in essence, values the power of the heart. Note that it is the heart, not will or spirit, the most core part of a person.

"Can you guarantee that nothing will happen to you?" Liadrin was still somewhat hesitant, knowing that she couldn't bear the responsibility if something happened to Zul'ra.

"Yes, he's locked up here by you, what could possibly happen to me?" Zul'ra nodded without hesitation. The reason why the mind is mysterious is because it is completely elusive, existing on an illusory level, even deeper than those invisible magnetic or electric patterns, making it difficult to directly affect matter. He had once faced Old God at the level of the mind.

"Well, you, you should give it a try, but please be very careful. We'll be watching the situation closely." Seeing Zul'ra's confident attitude, Liadrin thought for a long time and decided to let him try. After all, if Zul'ra could figure something out, it could help the Sin'dorei.

"Please wait a moment, I'll go and call Tae'thelan and Astalor over, so we can be fully prepared." After agreeing to Zul'ra's request, Liadrin couldn't help but regret it. She stopped Zul'ra in time, then turned to her subordinates to call for help. Even if they were to try, they needed to be prepared for the consequences.

There's nothing left at night.
