Ashbringer
The cold air of early spring has dissipated in the dull and dark sky, and the land of Lordaeron, where everything should be green, is rarely alive, because even if the severe cold that blocks life recedes, the breath of curse still lingers on this land. Until the natural disaster is under control, life will continue to be suppressed on this land. ✌🎁 ❻9Ŝ 👍💲
The orange-red haze dissipated slightly, the Abomination swung its iron hook, the Ghoul bared their yellowed fangs, the skeletons trudged along, and the Undead surged towards the center of the battlefield like a tide, where a golden light flickered like flames.
"Come on! Come on! You scum, no matter how many of you come, I will not yield to you!" Alexandros, wielding the greatsword Ashbringer unleashed scorching the Light, roared as he faced the surging tide of Undead. Golden the Light flowed through his veins like honey, granting him boundless power.
At the beginning of the plague Undead's rampage, after Arthas murdered his father, the wise men of Lordaeron sensed the impending storm. Alexandros, the Highlord of Southshore, was one of them. In order to fight against the Undead, he conceived an idea: to forge an artifact capable of destroying the the Scourge.
In his quest to forge the artifact, Alexandros scoured far and wide for items. Eventually, he retrieved a strange gem from his collection. This gem was a trophy he had acquired during the Second War at Blackrock Mountain, radiating intense shadows. His Fairbanks, had insisted on destroying the gem with the Light, but unexpectedly, the gem, illuminated by the Light, transformed into a the Light gem.
Alexandros believed that the gem that emitted a dazzling the Light was the perfect treasure to forge an artifact, so he took it to Ironforge to ask the Dwarves for help. At that time Arthas had just returned from the north with the demon sword Frostmourne, having Frostmourne his father. King Magni of Ironforge, having heard that his brother Muradin Bronzebeard died at the hands of Arthas, granted Alexandros's request.
At Alexandros's request, Magni used the strange gem he brought, combined it with several other materials, and finally forged a greatsword, infusing it with his grief over the loss of his beloved brother, as well as his hatred for the the Scourge and Arthas.
The greatsword did not disappoint Alexandros. When he wielded the blade on the battlefield against the the Scourge, it unleashed a golden light like flames, turning the Undead into countless charred bones, leaving only ashes of the Undead in its wake.
Alexandros, wielding a greatsword, not only repelled the the Scourge countless times, awakening the remnants of Lordaeron's spirit of resistance against the the Scourge, but also earned himself and the greatsword the title of "Ashbringer".
Alexandros, wielding Ashbringer, once achieved the feat of fighting against a thousand men single-handedly. Because of this, he believed that as long as he held this holy sword and remained steadfast in his faith in the Light, he would be invincible.
Overconfident and arrogant Alexandros, upon hearing the news of his youngest son's abduction, left Scarlet Monastery with only his son Renault, who had come to deliver the message, and without even taking any extra soldiers with him.
After leaving Scarlet Monastery, Alexandros hurried on his way. Renault told him that Darion had been abducted by the the Scourge to Stratholme, which he didn't doubt at all. On the way, he met his advisor Fairbanks. Before the three of them could exchange many words, countless Undead surged out from all around them.
An endless sea of Undead surged forth like a tide, but Alexandros fearlessly drew Ashbringer from his back and, as always, transformed into a golden light and charged into the midst of the Undead.
Alexandros was enveloped in golden the Light. Wherever his greatsword swung, the Undead were slain, and their remains were set ablaze. As the battle reached its climax, he roared:
"I am Ashbringer, I bear the hopes of the Light, and I hate you Undead scum..."

With the holy sword in his hand and the unwavering resolve fueled by hatred, Alexandros transformed into a golden torch. The endless Undead surged toward him, but in the end, they all fell before him, and the the Scourge was gradually extinguished and diminished.
As the sun began to set in the west, Alexandros swung his sword and cleaved a skeleton in two. He watched as the broken bones, trailing golden flames, fell to the ground and turned to ashes. When he swung his sword again, he missed.
"Is this all you've got!" Alexandros roared as he looked up at the wilderness after swinging his greatsword at empty air, but all he received in return was a mountain of charred bones and rotting corpses.
"Is this all you have...?" Alexandros looked at the silent surroundings, his blood boiling slightly, and his uncontrollable roar subsided. He felt very tired, but he couldn't rest.
"Undead scum, rotting flesh and bones, that's all you've got..." Alexandros cursed, but as he continued, he felt his eyes sting.
"No..." Alexandros felt his eyes stinging and quickly wiped them. He couldn't cry, at least not now. He was everyone's pillar. He had to find Renault and Fairbanks, and he had to rescue Darion.
"Renault, Fairbanks, where are you...?" Alexandros looked around, and after confirming that there were no more enemies, he began searching the battlefield for his son and advisor.
Alexandros searched frantically, trying to recall the fierce battle. He remembered Fairbanks being beside him, casting amplification spells on him, but ultimately being pounced on by an abomination. He killed the abomination, and it must have been pinned beneath it, along with Renault ...
"Renault, my child..." Alexandros' heart trembled at the thought of Renault. Although he was usually strict with his eldest son, it was only because he was so disappointing, and his behavior and thoughts repeatedly crossed the moral and ethical boundaries of Paladin.
"Father..." Just as Alexandros was worrying, a voice called out from ahead. He looked up and saw Renault emerging from behind the pile of corpses.
"By the Light, where have you hidden?" Alexandros looked at his son, who was covered in blood, and breathed a sigh of relief, then plunged the greatsword in his hand into the ground.
"I was crushed beneath the corpse." Renault looked at the Ashbringer, who was impaled in the ground, his expression strangely calm.
"Don't just stand there like an idiot! Come help me! I need to find Fairbanks, and we still need to rescue Darion!" Alexandros looked at Renault, who was unharmed, and while he relaxed, he became anxious again. His youngest son had been kidnapped, and he didn't know what had happened to Fairbanks!
"Fairbanks..." Alexandros turned around, calling out as he began rummaging through the remains of the Undead, trying to find the advisor's whereabouts.
"Darion will be alright." Renault looked at his father, who had his back to him, and the Ashbringer stuck in the ground. His heart skipped a beat. A thought that terrified him and that he dared not even think about arose in his mind: to draw his sword and kill the man in front of him.
"Far... Renault, I told you not to stand there like an idiot." Alexandros turned his head and looked at Renault, who was standing still. He couldn't help but feel annoyed and scolded him. This kid was always so slow-witted.
