A New Era
Outside the cabin's transparent window, the green of Mulgore was rapidly receding. Zul'ra sat in the window seat, folding her documents in front of her, then looked at Magena, who had sat down opposite her. 💔♜ 🍔🔥
"Can I take a look? Could I have a cup of coffee, or water will do?" Magena looked at the papers Zul'ra had put away, wanting to try picking one up and looking at it, and asked the secretary Geqila, who was waiting by the cabin, for a drink.
"This is my office. Now let's talk. Bring some tea." Zul'ra moved aside the documents Magena wanted to take, and then asked Geqila to get some drinks. Secretary Amani'lai immediately went to get them.
"What did you say?" Magena asked, slightly pursing her lips as Zul'ra wouldn't let her touch the documents.
"Tell me, as an advisor, what can you do to help me now?" Zul'ra asked. Taking in a mage advisor of unknown origin, especially one who had come from Dalaran, would not have been a consideration in the past. However, considering that this matter was related to the Legion, he was being cautious and decided to take the female mage to Thunder Bluff for the time being.
"Hmm! Demon..." Magena saw that Zul'ra wouldn't let her touch the documents and instead asked how she could help him. After tilting her head and thinking for a moment, she uttered a word.
"I'm listening." Zul'ra nodded; the value the other party demonstrated was indeed that of a demon.
"Speaking of which, why are you so wary of me? Isn't it a lucky thing for you to have a beautiful and powerful mage like me serving you?" Magena was a little annoyed by the serious Trolls. Wasn't it a blessing to have such a powerful and beautiful person as an advisor? Shouldn't she be overjoyed?
"Let's talk about demons!" Zul'ra couldn't help but grin as she watched Magena's inner monologue unfold; this woman's acting was a little over-the-top.
"Alright, alright!" Seeing that Zul'ra remained silent, Magena had no choice but to give up and tell what she knew.
"Zmodlor, this is the creature that's come to retaliate against me right now. It's also something your Horde and Alliance should be wary of. If possible, I suggest you drive it out of this world immediately." Magena's expression turned unusually serious.
"Do you know where it is now?" Zul'ra asked, seeing that Magena was no longer pretending to be silly and cute, and that she was now taking the matter of the demon seriously.
"This guy isn't a high-ranking demon, and he's not particularly strong individually, but he's extremely cunning. It took me a lot of effort to drive him away back then. I only know of one place where he might exist: the Poison Mist Peak in the the Barrens." Magena gave a brief explanation and pointed out a location.
"The Poison Mist Peak in the the Barrens! I see. Are there any other places?" Zul'ra nodded slightly. Demons are a big problem for harmony. We need to send people to investigate later. We also need to notify Theramore and find a way to get the Alliance members involved. The Horde can't always handle this alone.
"No, why? I have this feeling that I'm not like an advisor here, but more like a prisoner?" Magena blinked, shifted her body slightly, glanced at the situation outside the airship window, and couldn't help but feel a little suspicious.
"The tea is here." Just as McGonagall was wondering, the cabin door opened, and Geqila came in carrying a teapot and teacups on a tray.
"To be precise, you are a guest, Ms. Magena." Zul'ra shifted Magena's mindset slightly. He had no intention of actually having her as an advisor. This woman denied being from Dalaran and was shrouded in too much mystery, making her untrustworthy. However, regarding the matters concerning demons, it was best to treat her with due respect.
"Thank you, guest? Don't you intend to accept me as your advisor? It was my initiative!" Magena thanked Geqila, who poured her tea, while also finding Zul'ra's politeness rather amusing.
"No, our Horde's system is different from that of humans. The position of advisor has been phased out." Zul'ra gave a polite smile. After establishing a centralized system, the Horde's political system had broken away from the Alliance's monarchical-parliament dual system. There would no longer be an official title like advisor, which was a private staff member with an unclear job title.
"Really?" Magena sniffed the strong tea in her cup, and looking up in surprise as she listened to Zul'ra's words, she realized that the Horde had adopted a completely new political system, eliminating the private advisors who served as private staff. This was a major reform.
"Really. Also, regarding the demon issue you mentioned, we will send people to Poison Mist Peak to investigate. In addition, we will notify Theramore and try to unite both sides to deal with it. This can also be considered as a way to improve our relationship." Zul'ra took the tea handed to her by Geqila and nodded to the female mage who had really become serious.
"You all look so energetic!" Magena's surprise deepened. Although she knew some things about the Horde and the Alliance, she didn't know the specifics. But the demeanor the Horde was showing through Zul'ra made it seem like this new system was very vibrant.
"It's alright, it's all for survival." Zul'ra smiled and raised her teacup slightly to Magena.
"For survival, well, it's a bit bitter." Magena raised her teacup slightly to Zul'ra in a toast, a sense of curiosity about the New Horde rising within her, but the tea made her frown as she tasted it.
"However, it seems to taste quite good." Magena swallowed the tea in her mouth, feeling the slightly bitter tea go down her throat and into her stomach, then her mouth and nose were filled with fragrance, and her mouth secreted saliva. She couldn't help but be slightly surprised; this Trolls drink seemed quite good.
"Of course, this is a precious tea we obtained from the Pandaren." Zul'ra put down her teacup, savoring the sweet fragrance in her mouth, and nodded with a smile.
"Pandaren? You've seen Pandaren? I've only read about them in the Quel'dorei documents. It's said that only Dath'Remar ever saw one Pandaren!" Magena was somewhat surprised. She had seen countless characters, but her impression of the Pandaren, who rarely appeared before the War of the Ancients, was still only in legends.
"Yes, I have seen it. After the Dark Portal opened, the mist that shrouded our world is slowly dissipating, and an era is quietly dawning." Zul'ra smiled and nodded slightly at the astonished female mage.
"Is a new era dawning?" Magena looked at the Trolls who was smiling calmly, then turned to look at the scenery rushing past the airship window. Her thoughts drifted away, realizing that her own thinking was outdated and she hadn't noticed this at all. A completely different new era was already beginning.
There was no more at night.
