Departure
"Ahem, this is just a suggestion. If you're not willing, then forget it!" Zul'ra coughed awkwardly upon hearing Jaina's words, realizing she had indeed gone astray. This was just a temporary suggestion; the Horde currently quite short of talent.
"What should I do if I want to?" Samuro thought about it carefully and found that Zul'ra's suggestion was very feasible. He couldn't let the Burning Blade Clan die out in his hands.
"Go to Orgrimmar and find Hamuul Runetotem Runetotem. Of course, for the sake of your music career, you can write down the necessary information in a book and send it to him." Seeing that Samuro seemed to have changed his mind, Zul'ra quickly told him where to go. Such traditional customs of the Burning Blade Clan should be managed by Hamuul Runetotem, who was in charge of spreading the faith.
"Okay, I'll remember that. Now, I have another question, Zul'ra Jin. When can our concert resume? Do we need you for this operation?" Samuro nodded and then posed another question.
"Once the demons of Poison Mist Peak are dealt with, this operation, for the time being, doesn't need you; we'll handle that ourselves." Zul'ra shook her head, showing no intention of recruiting the Chieftain Band.
"Then we'll wait for your good news." Samuro wasn't surprised that Zul'ra hadn't summoned him, and nodded to indicate that he was looking forward to the reopening of the concert.
"If there's nothing else, I'll take my leave now. I wish you all the best for your upcoming concert." Zul'ra smiled and nodded, offering her blessings before leaving with Jaina and Sok.
"Sok, go check the food and water supplies, then replenish my and Jaina's troops. Tomorrow at dawn, we will head to Poison Mist Peak to fight the demons," Zul'ra said to Sok on the road.
"Okay, no problem." Sok nodded and left. He didn't ask to come along to Poison Mist Peak, because protecting the Gold Road in the the Barrens was his and the Warrior ' mission, and they wouldn't leave unless there were special circumstances.
After parting ways with Sok, Zul'ra took Jaina to visit the guards she had brought, as well as the Kor'kron guards who had come with her.
The combined forces of both sides numbered around four hundred, including Paladin, Shaman, Priest, armored cavalry, Shu'halo Warrior, and wolf rider raiders. Everyone was quiet and got along quite well, with no friction, which was a good sign.
Although there was no conflict between the Theramore Guards and the Kor'kron Guards, some trouble occurred in the camp in the middle of the night when a group of Quilboar attacked the camp. Fortunately, Sok quickly led the Warrior to repel the attackers, while Zul'ra and Jaina calmed their respective guards down, and they set off on time the next day.
"Zul'ra, is it really alright for us to set off like this?" Jaina asked, riding on her tall white steed and looking at the Trolls standing beside her.
"What are your thoughts?" Zul'ra looked at the mixed troops walking out of the camp. Although there was a minor disturbance last night, everyone was able to rest thanks to timely reassurance, and their spirits were still high, which would not hinder the march ahead.
"According to Magena, Zmodlor must already know about our attack on Poison Mist Peak, but it hasn't taken any action. There was only one Quilboar attack last night, which is a bit unusual," Jaina analyzed the current situation.
"That's true, but what action can it take?" Zul'ra countered.
"Theoretically, it can't do anything, but...!" Jaina was at a loss for words; her words were somewhat unsettling to the troops.
"Go check the troops' food and equipment, and also send out advance sentries to gather information. Proceed cautiously towards Poison Mist Peak." Zul'ra shook her head slightly and told Jaina to go ahead.
"Okay." Jaina pulled her horse and followed the advancing group, while Zul'ra turned to look at Sok and gave him some instructions.
"After we leave, seal off the camp and keep an eye out for suspicious individuals."
"May the wind guide you, Zul'ra Jin." Sok nodded in agreement, offering his blessing with a fist to his chest.
"For the Horde." Zul'ra nodded to Sok, then turned and walked to catch up with the Shu'halo Warrior from Kor'kron. The mixed force began its march toward Poison Mist Peak.
The force, composed of elite Warrior from the Horde and Theramore, carrying adequate food and water, swiftly marched toward the Poison Mist Peak in the northwestern heart of the the Barrens.
By dusk, the troops had arrived at Poison Mist Peak Poison Mist Peak, located in the northwestern center of the the Barrens. The area was quite large, and Zul'ra and Jaina immediately set up camp upon arrival.
Jaina originally wanted to send out some sentries to scout around. Although she knew the demon was at Poison Mist Peak, neither she nor Zul'ra could pinpoint its exact location. However, Zul'ra immediately stopped her from doing so.
"Sending sentinels out to search is pointless; they're easily attacked. Leave this to me!" Zul'ra stopped Jaina from sending out sentinels and took on the task of gathering intelligence on the demons.
"Alright!" Jaina didn't hesitate at all when faced with Zul'ra's initiative to take on the task. Before coming here, she had heard from Magena that Zul'ra's combat ability was not bad, and she had also heard that Trolls possessed some peculiar voodoo magic. Although those spells were primitive, they also had unique abilities.
After taking charge of the matter, Zul'ra handed over command of the troops to Jaina, then sat down in the tent to use his mental vision. Unlike the Far Sight, which still relies on eyesight, his ability relied entirely on his mind, and its range was extremely large.
To avoid unnecessary casualties, Zul'ra did not send out sentries who might be attacked. Instead, he decided to personally use his mental vision to search for traces of the demons. Although his mental vision still had a range, it far exceeded the Far Sight. It was enough to search Poison Mist Peak in segments, and it was very safe. He had used this technique to spy on Zandalar workshops and steal some secrets before.
Under the scan of his mental vision, Zul'ra quickly located a mountain valley area in Poison Mist Peak, where there was a camp guarded by some strange demons and a large number of Satyrs goat people. At the center of the camp was a glowing altar where a bloody sacrifice was taking place. The chief priests were some Orcs, and the sacrifices were goat people.
Beside the altar where the sacrifice was being performed, there was a Goblins- like creature with dark red skin, goat horns, hooves, and no wings. In just a fleeting moment, Zul'ra saw the creature looking at her, and she quickly looked away.
