The Allies of Justice Are Justice
Two Orcs were blasted away like cannonballs, but were completely unharmed. They calmly stood up, regrouped with their companions, and charged at Zul'ra, weapons in hand. They didn't even utter a battle cry; they simply identified their target and attacked. ♖👤 ♔😾
"Get out of the way!" Zul'ra cursed at Lirath behind him as he saw the four hammers and axes coming at him. Then he suddenly shrank back and curled up on the ground to avoid the four weapons. At the same time, he rolled to the feet of the four Orcs, then sprang up and struck one of the Orcs in the chin with a palm strike.
With Roll, Tiger Palm strike, followed by a crane- Spinning Crane Kick, and finally a true qi-splitting palm strike, Zul'ra used a series of combo moves to bring all four Orcs to the ground, leaving Lirath completely dumbfounded.
"Go, bring me my sword." Zul'ra looked at the four Orcs who were lying on the ground trying to get up, raised her leg and kicked one of Orcs on the head, knocking him back to the ground. Even with the kick to the head, the guy was still alive.
"Okay." Lirath looked at Zul'ra, who had brutally kicked the Orcs to the ground, and then glanced at the Orcs who had fallen earlier. He was dumbfounded because what he saw was not Orcs, but a creature with a lizard's lower body and a humanoid upper body.
Zul'ra approached the creature covered in bluish-black scales. A blade, the same one Legolas had hurled earlier, was embedded in its belly. The blood-stained bluish-black fragments on the blade indicated that this creature was the Orcs who had been the first to be killed. But how could Orcs have transformed into such a strange being?
"Stop standing there, you fucking dead man!" Zul'ra roared, finishing off the four Orcs and grinding them to the ground. But these four guys just wouldn't die. Under repeated suppression, they began to shake and deform. Their green skin shattered, their four claws pressed against the ground, and their humanoid upper bodies swelled to a height of two meters, their lizard-like heads looking down at Zul'ra.
Faced with Zul'ra's roar, Lirath also came to his senses and drew his sword, which was covered in bluish-black fragments. But when he turned around and saw the four monsters surrounding Zul'ra, he was still startled. However, after the initial shock, he immediately stepped forward and bravely Backstab one of the monsters.
With Zul'ra drawing fire from the front, Lirath's Backstab was successful. The monster, who had been kicked a dozen times in the head by Zul'ra Orcs its orcish shell, was only pierced in the back by the Continuum Blade, and fell to the ground with a whimper.
Taking advantage of Lirath's actions, Zul'ra first dodged two weapons swung by the monsters, and then launched a flying kick, knocking away a monster that was about to attack Lirath. Although the monster had grown larger, it was still sent flying by Sanra's kick.
"Get out of my way." Zul'ra kicked a monster away, then pushed aside Lirath who was lying on the monster's back, pulled out the Continuum Blade from his hand, accurately blocked a battle axe that came down, and then slithered into its arms.
Using one monster's body as cover, Zul'ra circled around the other monster twice before successfully piercing their bodies with the Continuum Blade. The two monsters, with holes in their bodies from the Continuum Blade, were still struggling.
Zul'ra didn't give the two monsters a chance. After glancing at his earlier sword throw and the location of Lirath's Backstab, he sent the remaining two monsters to their doom.
In the deserted alley, five monsters lay sprawled on the ground. Zul'ra looked at their bluish-black scales and was about to observe them when she was interrupted by a voice.
"That's great, Zul'ra, you really didn't disappoint me." Chromie's face was full of surprise.
"The mission is complete?" Zul'ra looked at the suddenly appearing Chromie and glanced at Lirath, who stood beside her like a wooden statue.
"It's temporarily done. Most importantly, we've found these guys who have been destroying history. They seem to be dragonmen, but they're a species we've never seen before." Chromie looked at the humanoid lizard-like monster on the ground and explained their origin: dragonmen.
"A dragon person?" Zul'ra felt it necessary to express her surprise at the little girl's appearance.
"Yes, that's right, we are the servant race of the dragons. Don't you recognize us?" Chromie looked at Zul'ra with some surprise. This guy knew dragons, but didn't he know dragonkin?
"I haven't seen it." Zul'ra shook his head. He had never seen the dragon people. At the same time, he suddenly realized that he seemed to have made a mistake. It was fine that he knew Bronze Dragons, but there was a loophole in his knowledge of Chromie.
He accepted Chromie's mission without hesitation and even asked her for help, which shows that he knows her well enough. There are many logical loopholes in this, but fortunately, they can be explained. Moreover, Chromie hasn't discovered this yet, which is probably caused by the Bronze Dragons traveling through time too frequently.
"Alright! In short, the pests on the timeline have been temporarily eliminated, and our business is temporarily over. We may have to come back next time, but that's next time." Just as Zul'ra had expected, Chromie didn't notice the strangeness between them. While accepting his explanation, she announced that the mission was temporarily over.
"And now!" Zul'ra blinked. The mission was over so quickly, which was a good thing for him.
"First, we need to collect these corpses and take them back to the Caverns of Time for research. Second, we need to deal with you—oh, that might give you the wrong idea. I can't solve your problem, and I need to take you back to the Caverns of Time now. Anyway, our destination is the Caverns of Time, that's for sure." Chromie's mind jumped around very quickly, and her personality was extremely carefree.
"I hope nothing bad will happen to me!" Zul'ra asked, a little worried.
"Don't worry! There's nothing to be afraid of. The Caverns of Time is our dragon's lair. You may have heard some bad things about the Bronze Dragons, but you must know that we uphold justice," Chromie explained to Zul'ra with a grin.
"Is that so!" Zul'ra blinked as he listened to Chromie's words. He didn't know exactly what the Bronze Dragons ' justice was, but he knew one thing for sure: as long as he stood with the Bronze Dragons, he would be absolutely righteous. This was good news.
"Of course, come on! Help me deal with these things first." Chromie waved her little arm with a grin, creating a vortex of quicksand-like golden light particles in the air.
"Yes, just throw it in here."
At Chromie's instruction, Zul'ra willingly became a righteous laborer, lifting the corpses of five dark blue-scaled dragonmen and throwing them into the golden vortex she had opened, before following her in as well.
The vortex of golden sand disappeared, and the previously still Lirath returned to normal, then rushed towards the attacked village as if nothing had ever happened.
