Victory
The centipede-like worms were cylindrical, with countless thin claws growing from their abdomens. They were solitary individuals, each with half its body inside C'Thun, constantly twisting and burrowing deeper, occasionally emerging to change direction, seemingly gnawing at its flesh.
The insects were only focused on burrowing into C'Thun's body and eating his flesh, without attacking the surrounding Allied Warrior. Given their rather gruesome appearance, the Allied Warrior, except for a few who were stunned by the attack or those whose insects were simply blocking their way, generally gave them a wide berth. The insects were not afraid of the power of the Fel totem and even lowered their heads to eat the Fel- scorched flesh.
After discovering the centipede-like worms, Zul'ra attempted to forcibly infuse them with some of the Fel from the Fel'dan's Skull. After receiving the Fel, the worms developed bony keratin on the gaps between their carapace segments, first with green saliva flowing from their dense mouthparts, and then they turned around and frantically devoured the raw flesh.
C'Thun clearly wanted to resist the burrowing and devouring insects, his fleshy body swelling up like muscles to prevent them from biting him. However, the insects' mouthparts, dripping with green saliva, could easily bite through and pierce him. C'Thun's body was too large, and he couldn't deal with both the Allied Warrior and the insects in a short time.
Seeing the silkworms devouring flesh and blood, Zul'ra was overjoyed and was about to ask the Shaman for help to increase manpower, but unexpectedly a shockwave struck nearby. When he turned around, he saw a piece of charred flesh being blown away and a large crater being opened in C'Thun's body.
"What happened?" Zul'ra was taken aback.
"It looks like the totem exploded." Hamuul Runetotem, wielding a Flame Axe and hacking at the flesh-and-blood creature, glanced at the situation and then informed Zul'ra, who was nearby.
"What happened? Some Shaman, come and infuse these insects with Fel." Zul'ra called to the Shaman to take over his new discovery, while he went over to observe.
"I'm so sorry, Zul'ra Jin, it was our mistake. We discovered the Light..." After understanding the situation, Bolvar quickly explained what had just happened to Zul'ra.
"The Light and Fel, interesting." Zul'ra's eyes lit up slightly after hearing Bolvar's words. The reaction between Fel and the Light was quite intriguing; it was a brilliant magical bomb.
"Stop pouring the Light into the totems. Those totems are effective. Priest, come here and pour your the Light into those insects." Zul'ra found a new method for the Priest: to cooperate with the Shaman. After the Shaman poured Fel into the insects' bodies, they would then pour the Light into them, turning the insects into bombs.
While arranging for the Priest to cooperate urgently with the Shaman, Zul'ra personally took to the horse to experiment. He could summon the Light and control Fel, and tried to combine the two energies in his hands. Then he added divine power as a coordinator, and finally successfully created a bizarre and wonderful magic ball.
Without a word, Zul'ra threw the bizarre magic ball at C'Thun's body in the distance, disrupting the energy balance within. With a loud bang, another large crater appeared on C'Thun's body, leaving everyone stunned.
"Come on, everyone! Victory is just ahead! For our world!" Zul'ra, having developed a new spell, suddenly felt as if she had opened a new door, and gave a spirited shout to the allied soldiers.
With shouts, Zul'ra created several more bizarre, colorful orbs, bombarding C'Thun's body relentlessly. Large swaths of flesh were charred and torn apart by the frenzied energy, while the surrounding Warrior, as if injected with adrenaline, swung their Fel weapons wildly at the flesh beneath their feet, until those individual pieces of flesh were gone.
Under the relentless onslaught of the allied forces, C'Thun was no longer able to differentiate into individual flesh and blood. Its countless eyes had been nearly blinded. The size of its enormous flesh and blood body underground was unknown, but the part exposed in the rocky hall had been almost completely sheared off a foot, leaving charred pits of flesh everywhere.
The battle continued. After finding the correct method of attack, Zul'ra began to change tactics. Instead of bombarding indiscriminately, she targeted and exploded certain parts of C'Thun 'C'Thun body, creating a crater a hundred meters deep. The evil god was now lifeless and dead.
The frenzied battle continued for an unknown period of time. When everyone finally stopped and felt exhausted, they noticed that the massive evil god C'Thun had fallen silent, and the few remaining eyes had closed. Everyone was at a loss for what to do.
"Did we succeed? How big is this thing?" Bolvar walked to Zul'ra's side, panting, looking at the charred, deep crater that Zul'ra had blasted out with her magic ball, almost endless. He wondered how big this Old God was.
"I don't know, but we should have won this battle." Zul'ra looked at C'Thun, who was now completely still, and couldn't help but grin. The only Old God in the storyline that was confirmed to have been killed was Y'Shaarj, but that thing's power still affected Pandaria, causing endless trouble. Old God were definitely not easy to kill.
"And then!" Bolvar looked around at the Warrior who had stopped to rest.
"Withdraw, withdraw and rest. We'll summon the Warlock later to deal with this. We absolutely cannot let this Old God's body remain." Zul'ra made the decision after thinking for a moment.
"I agree." Shandris strode closer.
"Then I'll declare victory now." Seeing that Zul'ra and Shandris were of one mind, Bolvar turned his head and saw Brann sitting on a charred, floating object not far away, smoking a pipe and chatting with Hamuul Runetotem, which made him shake his head slightly.
"Of course." Zul'ra glanced at Shandris beside her, whose green hair was stuck to her purple face, and shrugged her shoulders slightly.
"Everyone, look over here... I have some good news to announce." Bolvar raised his hands and spoke in a loud voice, drawing everyone's attention.
"Our battle has reached this point, a complete victory. We have successfully used our power to protect our world and defeat the evil god that threatened it. We..."
"Long live!" Before Bolvar could finish speaking, cheers shook the entire hall. After a battle, they were all exhausted and had lost friends and family, but all of this had been worthwhile; they had won the war.
"Now, everyone, prepare to withdraw. Let the professionals handle the situation here!" After announcing the victory, Bolvar also announced the withdrawal from underground. As for the corpses of C'Thun on the battlefield, as Zul'ra said, they would be dealt with by Warlock later.
